The realm of reality, its very self being pure and ultimate, is called enlightenment. Therefore, even if it is lineage, it is not something that exists as a real entity, but rather the emptiness that is the characteristic of non-entity. Or, even if it is the lineage of enlightenment, it is not a basis, because there is no difference between before and after. The distinction between the basis and what depends on it is for the purpose of understanding things. Why is that? The phrase "Why is it?" refers to what arises from the very realm of reality. The answer has been given by those such as "Subhuti, the Bodhisattva." Because one trains in non-attachment, therefore the realm of reality itself is the lineage of enlightenment. The phrase "all phenomena" refers to the fifteen phenomena, as it has been said, "There are six phenomena of realization," and so on. Regarding the term "non-attachment," abiding is a contrary factor because it focuses on objects that are not truly real. Because it is contrary to that, there is non-attachment to those. Appropriately, either because it is the antidote to that, or because it is contrary to it. Training in non-attachment to those becomes virtuous. Therefore, it is because it removes the defilement of all conceptualizations. When the realm of reality manifests as extremely pure, enlightenment is attained. Therefore, that itself is the lineage of enlightenment, and not the other. How are those phenomena a basis? Because those without lineage and those of inferior lineage are not a basis. Although that is so, how is the formless realm of reality a basis for those? It is like showing that the formless space is the basis for the light of the moon and sun, darkness, and the exhaustion of darkness. That is the basis for accomplishment. From the perspective of the object, the treatise says: "The object is all phenomena, that is also virtue and so on, the realization of worldly beings, and those who desire to transcend the world, phenomena with outflows and without outflows, and those that are conditioned and unconditioned, phenomena common to disciples, and those that are not common to the Buddhas." This has been said. The phrase "virtue and so on" refers to virtue, non-virtue, and the unspecified. "The realization of worldly beings, and..."

Because the thing to be done is understanding, understanding is virtue. It means worldly and transworldly virtue.\ The rest is easy to understand. The Bhagavan (Blessed One) taught to Subhuti (Good Fortune) Bodhisattva Mahasattva and so on. What is to be understood through the order of the seven Abhisamayas is comprehension, that is the method of its meaning. By understanding the meaning through this, therefore, if there is no attachment to all dharmas, one will attain perfect complete enlightenment. The reason for saying "is" is because of its meaning, because the focus on all dharmas is accomplishment. Considering the purpose of what is to be done, it is said in the scriptures: The supreme mind of all sentient beings, renunciation and realization these three, by the three great ones, self-arisen, this is said to be the purpose of what is to be done. Therefore, this was said. Because it will arise spontaneously, it is self-arisen, that is, the Bodhisattva. That is the purpose of this. Through what purpose will perfect complete enlightenment be attained? Just like this, the supreme nature of all sentient beings is the dwelling place contained in the three vehicles. If it is for what kind of purpose? Because it is counted by the three great ones, it is the three great ones, namely mind, renunciation, and realization. That itself is the three. That also shows this: the wisdom etc. for the purpose of the great is the great purpose, because it is the object of the great doer. Because all sentient beings have a thinking mind, therefore it is a Bodhisattva Mahasattva. This phrase of the Ornament for Clear Realization, the Bhagavan taught from the great Prajnaparamita in this way: in order to become the supreme of all sentient beings, that is this great mind, great wisdom. Here it is also said that the purpose of what is to be done is because it will become the leader of the great mass of sentient beings and the great class of sentient beings, therefore the Bhagavan said it is a Bodhisattva Mahasattva. Shariputra asked, showing the great renunciation. Subhuti asked, showing the great realization. Therefore, the phrase of the Ornament for Clear Realization was changed to: The collection of all sentient beings, supreme as well as, renunciation and realization these three, great one.

The self-arising of the three. This should be understood for this purpose. Thus it is said. Therefore, the Blessed One spoke of "the meaning of Bodhi" etc. at this time. The so-called "is" is the meaning of certainty. Because of seeking the meaning of Bodhi, it is meaning and desire. For this purpose, the mind itself is, therefore it is called the great-minded one. Therefore, the sound of the great-minded one is said for this purpose. What was asked by the noble Subhuti is what Subhuti asked, etc. The Blessed One taught: The great aggregates of beings, etc. are teachings. The so-called category of beings is the subsequent teaching. Its main point is the land that is truly subdued by the three vehicles, that is, for this purpose. The main point of the aggregates of beings is great. That will become the great aggregates of beings themselves, therefore it is the great aggregates of beings themselves. After that, the "at the time" spoken by the Blessed One, etc. refers to the occasion. Self-view etc. have the same meaning. Those views are attached to the appearance of their objects by the differences of sects. Arising is samsara. Destruction is nirvana. The view of these two is determined to be the main one. Obtaining nirvana is annihilation, this is annihilationism. I exist constantly, this is eternalism. The body is the aggregates, realms, places, etc. Attachment to those things that have no self-nature is attachment to one's own body. Like this refers to what was said before. The so-called "etc." means that wrong views such as holding precepts and asceticism as supreme should also be understood. The so-called Dharma refers to the reason for the path, which is the great abandonment. After that, the Blessed One, etc. spoke. Bodhi is also mind, and omniscience is also mind. Without outflows means that all outflows together with habitual tendencies have been completely purified. All individual beings are unequal, that is, without equal. The Buddha without equal and
