And unspeakability, this is called the conceptual thought imputed on the path of seeing. Illusion itself is the meditative absorption and the formless absorption, this is the conceptual thought imputed on the path of cultivation. Illusion itself is emptiness, everything, this is called the conceptual thought imputed on the superior path. Illusion itself, from the ten powers to illusion itself, up to enlightenment, this is the conceptual thought imputed on the path of no more learning. With the excellence of the Dharma, these nine become thin and are not abandoned, and being in accordance with them, one abandons the previous nine conceptual thoughts. Up to the teaching of the uninterrupted samadhi, that which is able to create obstacles is an obstacle. That which is not able to create obstacles is immediately following. If it is from these, then immediately after that, the path of seeing arises. Therefore, it shows the nine aspects of the second conceptual thought of clinging. Thus, this shows the distinction of having four conceptual thoughts, which is spoken based on the power of the distinction of completely holding. In the scriptures it says: 'The mind does not turn back, etc., the displayer of no self-nature, etc., the interval of its dissimilar aspects, all categories are holders.' It is said that all categories refer to the four complete holdings. By means of what is held, one follows the path of the Bodhisattva, and if it is not the path, one does not follow it. For example, by means of skillful means and a virtuous friend, and these two also completely abandon dissimilar qualities. Among them, by means of skillful means, it is the non-regression of the mind, etc., because the cause is imputed as the result. The displayer of no self-nature, etc., is the virtuous friend. In order to show its own situation, it is said that one newly enters the Great Vehicle, etc. The fear that has become manifest is fright. What has already been frightened is trembling. The cause of that is extreme and certain. Hearing this teaching is shown as a person of illusion. If it falls into the hands of a Bodhisattva, then it should be connected in this way. If it falls into what kind of hands? If a great-minded being falls into the hands of an evil friend. Here, the word 'not' should be understood, falling into the hands of an evil friend.

It is called "gone" or "become." Because that is not, not unskilled, not without skillful means. For those who are not in the hands of great bodhisattvas, it is called that, and in reality, it is shown that way. Abandoning those who are unskilled in means, abandoning evil friends, these two kinds of people are not to be accepted. Therefore, the Blessed One said, "Subhuti, wait a moment," and so on. A wise bodhisattva is skillful in means, and for those who have greatness, it is called that, that is, having entered the hands of a virtuous friend. Here, the word "or" is to understand the sound. This is showing that skillful means and virtuous friends are the other two kinds of acceptance. Among them, being able to ascertain and show that all dharmas are without inherent existence, and practicing virtuous dharmas with non-discriminating wisdom that possesses all aspects of knowledge, and dedicating these virtuous dharmas completely to perfect enlightenment, that is skillful means. The opposite of that is unskillful means. As it is said, "Thus, Blessed One," and so on, this is asking about the characteristics of a virtuous friend. The question is, "Who are the virtuous friends?" and so on. The answer is, "And, in that," and so on. Showing the nearness of demonic activities, here the faults of the demon are also the activities of the demon, because they arise from the actions of the demon and are the cause of the activity. How is it shown? As it is said, "For example," and so on. For bodhisattvas, the actions of the body and so on that arise after being blessed by the demon are the faults of the demon. Therefore, it should be known that those are obstacles to the practice of bodhisattvas. These faults of the demon are what I have told you. What is called demonic activity is when the demon himself transforms into the appearance of a monk and so on, and shows the wrong path. Similarly, showing those who are separated from the practice of bodhisattvas, it should be known. This should be known, that is what I have shown you. These are the two kinds of demonic activities. Showing, that is the four.
