And not abiding in the perfections, this is the conceptualization of not abiding in the noble path, which is the sixth. Focusing on the perfections and so on will definitely not occur, this is the conceptualization of focusing on the path, which is the seventh. This is focusing on self and phenomena, this is the conceptualization of focusing on self, which is the eighth. Unborn, not extremely born, not manifestly fabricated, pure, this is conceptualization, these nine are warm conceptualizations, these nine have not been thinned, have not been abandoned, therefore they possess them. Because the darkness of conceptualization has been thinned, it is taught that it relies on the samadhi of obtaining light, this is the first of the conceptualizations of the apprehended, there are nine kinds. From the perspective of the second, it is said "with them" and so on. The so-called "all phenomena" refers to the aggregates and so on. The so-called "examination" refers to grasping nine kinds by classifying the aggregates and so on. By classifying the examination of things such as aggregates, conceptualizing with aggregates and so on, there are nine kinds. Among them, conceptualizing and manifestly clinging to form, and clinging to consciousness, this is conceptualizing for the meaning of the aggregates. Conceptualizing and manifestly clinging to the eye, and manifestly clinging to phenomena, this is conceptualizing for the meaning of the source of birth. From name and form and the realm of eye consciousness, to the manifest clinging to mind and phenomena and the realm of mind consciousness, this is conceptualizing for the meaning of lineage. From ignorance to old age and death, it is conceptualizing for the meaning of birth. From inner emptiness to the emptiness of the nature of non-things, this is conceptualizing for the meaning of emptiness. The six perfections are conceptualizing for the meaning of the perfections. The thirty-seven factors of enlightenment are the conceptualizations of the path of seeing. Dhyana and the formless and samadhi and so on are the conceptualizations of the path of meditation. From the ten powers of the Tathagata to omniscience is the path of no more learning.

These are the discriminations of the path. "By those," etc., indicate the faults of those. "The true path as it is" refers to the non-inverted path, the wisdom of selflessness. True is suchness. The limit is the peak and the summit. "The true limit is emptiness" means just that. "Number" means to count. These nine discriminations are all of the peak. Because it has become thin and has not been abandoned, therefore being endowed with those is precisely abandoning the previous nine discriminations. Therefore, one abides in the samadhi of increasing appearance. This is the second of the discriminated-against, showing nine aspects. Based on the two grasping discriminations, the treatise says: Self and others, self-existing entity, Likewise, aggregates and other support doors, With substance and imputed support, Grasping is asserted as two aspects. Grasping is the discrimination of grasping. It has two aspects: relying on substance and relying on imputation. Support is the object. They also rely in order on self and others, self-existing ones, and aggregates and others. Here also, each is followed by "nine aspects." Among them, first, based on "those who are true to the Dharma," etc., it is stated. "Those" refers to ordinary people. "Dharma is true" refers to seeing the meaning of true reality, selflessness. "Do not believe" means not being respectful, which is discriminating the nine aspects of self. Again, by "again," etc., it is explained that Bodhisattvas do not cling to any Dharma, because they do not focus on self. Therefore, by the incompatibility of the nine aspects of non-focusing, there are nine discriminations. Because there is nothing to point out between self, sentient beings, and the seer, therefore not focusing is the discrimination of self-sovereignty. Not focusing on self between form and consciousness is the discrimination of the self of one. Not focusing between the non-abiding mind and between form and Dharma is the discrimination of the self of cause. From eye, form, and eye consciousness, to mind, Dharma, and mind

Until the various aspects of consciousness are distinguished as the nature of the seer. From dependent origination up to the formless realm, it is distinguished as the nature of the basis of universal affliction. From the first dhyana up to the samadhi of the formless realm, it is distinguished as the nature of the basis of detachment. The noble truths are distinguished as the nature of the basis of the seer. The eight liberations and the nine samadhis of gradual abiding are the distinctions of the basis of meditation. Between the ten powers and the all-knowingness, also because of non-attention, it is the distinction of the nature of the basis of accomplishing the meaning. These nine kshantis weaken, but do not abandon, therefore, possessing these can abandon the previous ones, therefore, because there must be an ungraspable one, therefore, it abides in the samadhi that enters into the meaning of suchness. Thus, the words spoken and so on, are what Shariputra asked privately. The question is thinking like this: If at that time learning towards the all-knowing, then how not to attend? The Blessed One said: Also not learning towards that, it means in the way of attending. If learning like that, it is learning in the way of non-attention. For all dharmas, it is obtaining the qualities of all the bhumis. As said, these are the first nine distinctions of holding. After that, the Blessed One and so on, for what illusory person and so on. The idea of asking is like this: If for this excellence of dharma, the bodhisattva who learns towards bodhi is like an illusory person, then the illusory person will also learn, and will surely be liberated from it, should it be said like that? Subhuti, therefore and so on, if it is not wanting to be like an illusory person, because of that reason. Then, it is said as a continuation of the speech. Asking you, is the same as the one who asked.
