It was said. Therefore, what is said from "from that" and so on is the actual object. Having prohibited engaging with characteristics, it shows engaging with the Perfection of Wisdom. Prohibiting engaging with characteristics refers to the characteristics of form and so on, that is, the nature of what depends on form and so on, belief, and perception. Therefore, it also indirectly shows the aspect. From the phrase "even if practicing that," etc., it shows the eight aspects of not having arrogance in practicing the Perfection of Wisdom. "Does not approach" is a synonym for "does not grasp," which is the difference between the object and aspect of great forbearance. Regarding the lesser vehicle of Dharma, it is said in the treatise, "The action of that samadhi is itself." The "samadhi" mentioned here refers to the samadhi that does not grasp all dharmas, which is the object here. "The action of that is itself" refers to the aspect. Why is that? It is said starting from "all dharmas are." The word "are" in "all dharmas are" is the reason. "Not following" means showing. "Not taking" means following showing. "All dharmas are the nature of non-substantiality" is what is intended. For someone who does not grasp all dharmas, that is called "that." Up to this point, the object has been shown. From "if abiding in this samadhi" and so on, the aspect is shown, which is the difference between the object and aspect of the lesser vehicle of Dharma. Regarding the middle vehicle, it is said in the treatise, "Prediction and pride are exhausted." This is what was said. Abiding in this samadhi, the Buddhas will give predictions, which is the object here. Whoever has exhausted pride in this samadhi, that is the aspect. From "that is, by the power of the Buddha" and so on until "prediction," it shows its object. From "that is samadhi" to "nothing at all," it shows the aspect. "Such" refers to the pride mentioned earlier. "All" means without omission. "From all" means taking the vast mind that does not grasp all dharmas as the leader. "I"

Bodhisattva. The meaning of being equally placed is without regression. "I enter into samadhi" means entering into samadhi on the third and fourth days, etc. "All aspects" means even the aspects of the smallest of the small. "Everywhere" means starting from obtaining samadhi. Therefore, "nowhere at all" is a concluding term. That is the difference between the object and aspect of the supreme and intermediate Dharma. In terms of the great, the treatise says: "The three are mutually of one essence, the samadhi is non-conceptual." Samadhi, Prajnaparamita, and Bodhisattva are the three. That is the mutual essence, which is the object of this. Non-conceptual samadhi is the aspect. From "praying thus" etc. until "predicted to attain Buddhahood," the object is spoken of. Thus, Bodhi is Prajnaparamita, because it is the cause of truly attaining Buddhahood. That itself is the Bodhisattva, this is its nature, therefore it is the Bodhisattva. In terms of context, the great samadhi itself is the Bodhisattva, therefore this is the great Bodhisattva. Again, how is this the Bodhisattva itself? Because it is the context. Therefore, the mutual essence and ground of these three are the object. From "Can this samadhi be shown?" until "then the Bhagavan," the aspect is shown. "Can it be shown?" means to fully show with words. The samadhi is also not known, because it is the grasper and the grasped, so it is non-conceptual because it does not appear as such. Not truly knowing means it is non-conceptual because it cannot be expressed. The rest is easy to understand. That is the difference between the object and aspect of the supreme and vast worldly Dharma. Thereafter, the treatise says: "Thus, the factors of ascertainment are small, medium, and great." The factors of ascertainment means those four that are in accordance with the factors of ascertainment, each of which becomes twelve by being small, medium, and great.

Let it be transformed! "Thus" means that, by means of the object and aspect as indicated, it should be combined as indicated by the twelve links of dependent origination. If it is said that this is associated with conceptual thought, then in the treatise it says: "Graspable conceptualization has two aspects, by the basis and its antidote, the distinctions of ignorance and aggregates, etc., those are individually nine aspects." This is what was said. Graspable conceptualization is conceptualizing the graspable. That has two aspects, one is conceptualizing things, that is, conceptualizing things that are known in the world. The other is its antidote, and that also has nine aspects individually. For example, the distinctions of ignorance and aggregates, etc., are synonyms for the distinctions of ignorance and aggregates, etc. After that, the Blessed One taught by saying "Well said" etc. to the venerable Subhuti. "After that" means immediately after the Blessed One said, "If you study like that, you are studying the Perfection of Wisdom." "Thus he spoke" means that, in order to show that what the Blessed One spoke was indeed the Blessed One's teaching, Shariputra at that time spoke for the purpose of asking. "What dharma should be studied?" means, is it studying the general characteristic, qualities, chief, person, etc.? Or should one study by focusing on the dharmas of aggregates, elements, sense bases, etc.? This is what he thought. The Blessed One replied that he does not study any dharma, because he is studying the selflessness of all dharmas. This is what he thought. "Why is that?" means, why does he not study all dharmas? The answer is what Shariputra etc. said. "That dharma" refers to matter, qualities, actions, etc. "Thus" refers to its nature. "How" refers to how it manifests and truly exists with what kind of nature? An ordinary being refers to a non-noble one, that is, a childish person. Because he does not possess learning, that is, he does not have much learning. So how does it exist now? It means how does it appear.
