He knows the mind of others, he knows truly as it is, whether it is with lust, without lust, with hatred, without hatred, with delusion, without delusion, and from knowing the unsurpassed mind as unsurpassed wisdom, he knows truly as it is. He remembers one birth, and then two, three, up to hundreds of thousands, millions. One day, then two, three, up to hundreds of thousands, millions of kalpas. I lived in such and such a place, my name was such and such, such was my clan, such was my race, such was my food, such was the length of my dwelling, such was the end of my life. Having died and passed away from there, I was born in such and such a place, up to being born here. Together with appearance, together with location, together with signs, thus knowing various appearances, this is remembering former lives. He, with the divine eye, pure and surpassing human, sees the death and birth of sentient beings, those born, those of beautiful color, those of ugly color, those inferior, those superior, those of good destinies, those of bad destinies, approaching according to the karma of sentient beings, sees and knows. These sentient beings, acting well with body, acting well with speech, acting well with mind, not slandering the noble ones, possessing right view, by the cause of acting well with body, speech, and mind, after the destruction of the body, at the end of life, will be born in the good destiny, the world of the gods. Furthermore, these sentient beings, acting badly with body, acting badly with speech, acting badly with mind, slandering the noble ones, possessing wrong view, those with wrong view, by the cause of undertaking such actions, after the destruction of the body, at the end of life, falling into the bad destiny, will be born in the hell of sentient beings. Thus, with the divine eye surpassing human, in the ten directions of the world,

All realms are pervaded by the Dharma realm of emptiness. The birth and death of sentient beings in the six realms, reaching the limit of the space realm, are completely and truly known, that is, the samadhi of meditation, immeasurable, formless realms, and the respective abhijna, and these differences, are called well-established. The rest is easy to understand, this is the first reverence. After that, from "Kaushika, let alone arranging all sentient beings of Jambudvipa in this way" to "if arranged in the fourth dhyana," and at the end of each, from "what do you think" etc., to "thoroughly distinguishing the true limit and subduing," according to the order, are the second, third, fourth, fifth, and sixth reverences respectively. That is the medium among the small, the great among the small, the small among the medium, the medium among the medium, the great reverence among the medium. Furthermore, from "Kaushika" etc., to "furthermore," the seventh is shown. World Honored One, giving to others also exists in the previous ones, but here it is reciting oneself, and giving to others is also more excellent, that is the small reverence among the great. Furthermore, from "Kaushika, son or daughter of good family skilled in meaning" etc., to "furthermore, Kaushika," the eighth is shown. Explaining the meaning of this, and the previously said "skilled in meaning," among these two, the former is considering arousing joy in those who are distracted from the Prajnaparamita etc. and grasp the gross appearance. But here it is considering the ultimate truth such as not focusing on the three edges. In this regard, the words "skilled in meaning" are the words of focusing on meaning. The one with meaning is the one who corresponds to that meaning. The one with words and phrases is the one who corresponds to the words and phrases of that meaning. The one who teaches is by briefly and correctly showing that meaning. The one who fully clarifies is by reasoning. This refers to the superior conduct of the eighth, because this is the occasion of the eighth. Therefore it is
