Being situated at the edge of activities, also with the knowledge of what is reasonable, this is superior wisdom. Superior merit is what should be examined, the rest is as before, this is a great desire with small wanting for one's own benefit. Kausika, therefore, from "and so on" to the second phrase "increase merit greatly," shows the foundation. The seven precious things are gold, silver, beryl, musaragarbha, padmaraga, pearl, and kikeru. "From its base" means from its cause. Having faith and devotion to the Blessed Mother means having a joyful mind. Superior intention means generating the mind of enlightenment. Decaying and so on, and explaining the meaning of this in various ways, recollecting with the mind, and thoroughly examining, and putting it into books, and for the sake of the long-lasting of the holy Dharma, and establishing it without deviating from the rules, is superior conduct. Superior merit is as the scripture says, the rest is as before, this is a small desire in the middle wanting for one's own benefit. Kausika, let alone a stupa of seven precious things, from "and so on" to the second phrase "increase merit greatly," shows the dedication. Jambudvipa is represented by having jambu trees with fruits as big as large cymbals. "Its base" means whatever is born in this place is called that. The rest is easy to understand. Wherever the benefits are spoken of here is superior conduct. There, increasing faith through the benefits shown as stated is superior conduct, this is a middle desire in the middle wanting for one's own benefit. Kausika, let alone the four great continents, from "and so on" to the second phrase "increase merit greatly," shows the sixth. Because there are great continents here, it is the four great continents. Because it holds the world, it is the world realm. The rest is as before, this is a great desire in the middle wanting for one's own benefit. Kausika, let alone a thousand kotis of world realms, from "and so on" to the second phrase "increase merit greatly," is the seventh. Because there is a measure of a thousand four great continents here, it is like that.

The fourth continent is empty. That curd essence with the essence of heat, that curd essence. That is the small one who is very fond of his own benefit. Those two are the eighth. This has the measure of two emptinesses. That is the second emptiness, meaning called empty essence emptiness. That is intermediate, because it is between small emptiness and large emptiness. That is the medium who is very fond of his own benefit. Then after that is the ninth. This has three emptinesses, which is three emptinesses. The second emptiness is called emptiness, that is the great emptiness, that is the great one who is very fond of his own benefit. Let alone the great emptiness of the three emptinesses of Kausika, etc., until it becomes an offering, which shows the tenth. In the three thousand worlds, all sentient beings obtain a human body. This has no beginning, and no end is no beginning and no end, meaning together. Sentient beings are born together without beginning and end, and then know it. Completely remaining means offering to the stupa for as long as life lasts. Here also, for a kalpa or more than a kalpa, here also cymbals and all songs and dances, etc., and all flowers, etc., offering to the stupa is remaining. The remaining merit of the Blessed Mother, etc., and the end of rational knowledge are shown. That is the remaining practice and offering here, that is the small fondness for the benefit of oneself and others. Let alone such a title of the Blessed One, etc., until it is born from this great ocean of the Perfection of Wisdom, which shows the eleventh. The sand of the Ganges River of the three thousand is called the difference of offering to the stupa. The remainder is like the tenth. The remaining is that the Blessed Mother's practice and offering, with reason, are fully known as great benefits. Because it is beyond thought, it is inconceivable. Because there is no similarity, it is incomparable. Manifestation is called the work of merit. Even one percent is called
