Focusing on the antidote objects from generosity and so on up to the Buddha's teachings is conceptualization. Non-focusing is the antidote. Focusing on the generosity and so on of an arhat and the aggregates of a person is conceptualization. Non-focusing is the antidote. Focusing on names, symbols, terms, and so on is conceptualization. Non-focusing is the antidote. Not abiding in the path of meditation is not non-abiding, but rather in the manner of all phenomena being without abiding, that is, in the manner of the realm of phenomena, which is the meaning. These are the non-focusing on the object of apprehension. The antidote object of generosity and so on is non-focusing. The aggregates of a person such as stream-enterer and so on are non-focusing, and engaging in stream-enterer and so on, and focusing on the basis of imputation of a person such as the fruit of stream-enterer and so on, these are the non-antidote aggregates. The establishment of the aggregates is complete. Here, since there is definite emergence, it is the time for the establishment of definite emergence. In this regard, it is said in the treatises: Intentional and equanimity, benefit of sentient beings and effortless, and extremely definite emergence, the characteristic of attainment definite emergence, omniscience, having the sphere of activity of the path of definite emergence, this nature of eight aspects, is said to be the establishment of definite emergence. Thus it is said. This itself, thus the Blessed One spoke and so on. Subhuti asked, what did he ask? The Great Vehicle and so on are mentioned. Because of this, this surpasses the world with gods, humans, and asuras, and the bodhisattva becomes definitely emergent. Therefore, this vehicle is called the Great Vehicle. Why does it surpass all the world? Therefore, it obtains the unobtained self-nature. And what is that? It is to establish the supreme nature of the assembly of sentient beings, that is, the greatness of great mind, great renunciation, and great realization, thus this is the intentional definite emergence. Because of being equal to space, this is the Great Vehicle, therefore

That is called the Great Vehicle, thus it is connected. As for being equal to space, how is it equal? Just as space has no distinction of direction, it is not color, not shape, without obstruction, unpointable, without end, without center, without decrease, without increase, without birth, without cessation, not belonging to the desire realm, not belonging to the form realm, not belonging to the formless realm. The Great Vehicle is also like that. Therefore, by being equal to space, that is the Great Vehicle. Therefore, it arises definitively by equality. Like space, etc., space is what opens up space. The Great Vehicle has space, so in order to open those up, there is no complete severance of the world realm, cliffs, and directions, so it is immeasurable, countless, inconceivable, with this name, in this way. If you ask: Like this, does it open up space for this many sentient beings? Because there are no sentient beings, there is no space. Without space, there is no Great Vehicle. Without the Great Vehicle, there are no all dharmas. Therefore, sentient beings, space, the Great Vehicle, and all dharmas, without form, unpointable, without obstruction, one nature, like this: without nature. Like that, opening up space for so many sentient beings is the Great Vehicle. Therefore, that is the definitive arising of sentient beings. Regarding this, etc., coming is coming, definitely going is definitely going, abiding is the opposite of going. The Great Vehicle does not have those three. Because all dharmas are immovable, because they by their nature do not go anywhere, do not come from anywhere, and will not abide anywhere, going and moving, that is the effortless definitive arising. Blessed One, etc., like this is space itself. Regarding this, it is the Great Vehicle. The so-called previous limit is the past time. The so-called later limit is the future time. The so-called middle is what is happening now.
