That, this is the activity of rejoicing in the pure Buddhafield. If a Bodhisattva, from the very first moment of generating the mind of enlightenment, is certain to attain perfect and complete enlightenment, and if that is certain, how could they be born in the lower realms? Those who generate the mind of perfect and complete enlightenment, practice the six perfections and the four immeasurables, and abide in order to abandon the path of the ten non-virtuous actions, even the eight unfavorable conditions will not occur to them. What need is there to even mention being born in the lower realms? Although that is the case, those who are born in the realm of animals are endowed with all the root dharmas of virtue, both with and without outflows, and are intentionally born for the sake of the benefit of sentient beings. They do not experience the suffering of animals. For example, it is like the Tathagata who has attained the highest power, simultaneously emanates infinite forms of themselves in all realms of the world for the sake of others. This is the activity of rejoicing in the certainty of attaining perfect and complete enlightenment. They abide in the Prajnaparamita and perform the benefit of sentient beings in the ten directions, in realms as numerous as the sands of the Ganges River, yet they are not stained by faults. Like this, if they do not fixate on the three dharmas of what is touched, who touches, and what is touched, and fixate on emptiness, then they will abide in all white dharmas, because they have gathered those together. Thus, all dharmas are empty of all dharmas, and therefore they are gathered into emptiness. This is the activity of rejoicing in the immeasurable benefit of sentient beings. They should contemplate in this way: All the Tathagatas who abide in the ten directions, in realms as numerous as the sands of the Ganges River, are empty of inherent existence. They are only designated by names and conventions, and that designation is also empty of inherent existence. If there were something that was not empty, then why would it not be temporary? Therefore, all dharmas are only empty of all dharmas. They abide in the Prajnaparamita, accomplish the six superknowledges, and abide in those, in the ten directions.

Having gone to the presence of all the Tathagatas and served and honored them, and having listened to the Dharma from them, one generates roots of virtue that are free from attachment, and one is not attached to emptiness. With the divine eye, he looks upon the sentient beings of the ten directions of the world, and having gone there by means of the supernormal knowledge of miraculous power, he teaches them the Dharma. With the divine ear, having heard the Dharma taught by all the Buddhas of the ten directions, he teaches it to them. Having understood the varieties of the minds of sentient beings, he teaches them the Dharma according to their minds. He remembers many former lives of himself and others, and having remembered the Dharma taught by the Buddhas of the past, he teaches it to those whose minds are to be tamed. Knowing the exhaustion of defilements, he teaches the Dharma in accordance with sentient beings. With supernormal knowledge, for the sake of sentient beings, he desires to take whatever objects of his own he wishes to take, and he desires to take and abandon them separately. There, he is not stained by attachment to pleasure and pain, nor by anger. This is the activity of praising the teachings of the Buddhas of the ten directions, and so forth. Furthermore, what are the limbs of enlightenment of a Bodhisattva? They are the six perfections, from the four concentrations up to the unshared qualities of a Buddha. If one practices these, since the three circles are pure, one does not fixate on them, and one dedicates them entirely to perfect and complete enlightenment for oneself, and to perfect and complete enlightenment for the supreme benefit of all sentient beings. If these are the qualities of a Bodhisattva, then what are the qualities of a Buddha? If these individuals awaken to omniscience by means of these qualities, and all connections of habitual tendencies are abandoned, and with the wisdom that possesses a single instant, one awakens to all phenomena, this is the quality of a Buddha, and not of a Bodhisattva. This is the activity of praising the limbs of enlightenment. Although all phenomena are empty of their own nature, the karma of...
