Therefore, in order to abandon those, one completely matures the three vehicles. This is the activity of placing beings in complete maturation. That which practices each of the perfections, etc., is to teach all sentient beings all virtuous dharmas and the emptiness of all dharmas. This is the activity of placing beings on the path of a Bodhisattva. When one contemplates in that way, all dharmas are emptiness, and one does not cling to emptiness either. Therefore, one should meditate without clinging to any dharma, and one should practice generosity, etc., and one should not be arrogant about those three spheres. This is the activity of placing beings in the abandonment of all clinging. Enlightenment is not attained by the path, nor is it attained by the non-path, because enlightenment itself is the path, and the path itself is enlightenment. If that is the case, does the Bodhisattva himself become a Buddha? When the Bodhisattva has completely perfected all the qualities of a Buddha, and abides in the Vajra-like Samadhi, and with the wisdom that possesses a single instant, attains perfect and complete enlightenment, at that time, he himself is the Tathagata, and is declared to be the all-knowing one who possesses all vision. This is the activity of placing beings in the attainment of enlightenment. That one's own and others' moral conduct is corrupted, being truly encompassed by the path of the ten non-virtuous actions, as well as the opposing factors of the six perfections, and the five fruits of the lesser vehicle being manifested and experienced, not distinguishing the occasions of the contacts, eliminating the bad habit of the perception of all defiled and undefiled dharmas such as aggregates and elements, one also abides in the virtuous dharmas such as the perfections, and also places others in those dharmas, and also makes those roots of one's own virtue common with all sentient beings, dedicating them to perfect and complete enlightenment and omniscience, and to the complete purification of one's own Buddha-field, and in order to purify the Buddha-field, one also makes aspirations as stated in the sutras.
