I, the aspect of consciousness is also not established, because it is the characteristic of grasping. Since there is no grasping, there is also no grasped. Therefore, all phenomena are established as being without substance. That which is expressed by the sound of form, etc., is indeed form, etc. The expression of these exists in the world, and there is also the designation of non-deception for those who hear. If it is said that all phenomena are without substance, then apart from these, it is an argument. The answer has been given by saying that all phenomena are merely names, etc. A name that is empty of meaning is merely a name. Therefore, when all those phenomena are spoken of, those aspects of mind have no meaning in terms of meaning. Because it is understood as external, it also enters into the external. Even the meaning of the external does not exist. Although there is no external, meaning is understood from sound. If it is said that consciousness itself understands external objects from sound, then those have no object of meaning in them, because they are different from others. If they are not different, then even those with consciousness would obtain meaning, and thus it would become non-deceptive. Therefore, because there is no object of meaning, it is spoken of only by name and the imputation of designation. If it is said that for the time being there is only designation, then it is said that the imputation of designation, etc., is nowhere to be found, because it is meaningless, and it is also not body, speech, or mind, because what is to be said and what is said are not perceived. All phenomena, etc., are the conclusion. The absence of designation, the unspeakable, means that those are not in them. The absence of sound and the absence of words are due to that. Because forms, etc., are endowed with measure, their emptiness, etc., is also endowed with measure, and therefore the Perfection of Wisdom that focuses on them will also become endowed with measure, is this not undesirable? This is the argument. The answer has been given by saying that all phenomena are immeasurable, because all phenomena are immeasurable, because they are immeasurable. Just as there is no characteristic of the nature of non-things in space, so too emptiness is immeasurable, because there is no cutter.

Therefore, the Prajñāpāramitā is also undifferentiated. If that is the case, then how do these appearances, such as blue and other forms, appear? These are the characteristics of phenomena, not the actual entities of phenomena. Because they are devoid of the nature of one and many, and because it is unreasonable for the non-appearing self to appear. The characteristics of phenomena are also the deluded aspects of phenomena, and that is also the nature of appearance, so appearance appears even though those are not there. Because for those who are deluded, the characteristic of non-existence appears. If that is the case, then the Prajñāpāramitā is also not established, because it is not delusion, and the mind with aspects is delusion, and the mind without aspects is not experienced even in dreams, so says the opponent. The answer is given by "Because all phenomena are without characteristics," etc.: All characteristics of phenomena disappear, and knowledge is appearance and without aspects. Therefore, because of abandoning aspects, it should be understood as Prajñāpāramitā, like the absorption in the formless samādhi, so it is thought. Then, because of abandoning this characteristic of conceptualization, if one does not properly attend to the realm of phenomena, it is not Prajñāpāramitā, so says the opponent. The answer is given by "Because of definitely distinguishing all phenomena": Definitely distinguishing here refers to individual discrimination. The nature of all phenomena being completely established is directly realized by the wisdom of individual discrimination, and that is their definite distinction. Therefore, this is the meaning of being called Prajñāpāramitā by its characteristic. Thus, through the order of hearing, thinking, and meditating, which are well attended to, the spontaneously accomplished non-manifesting accumulation of attention, and also the knowledge without elaboration arises for the suchness of all phenomena. That is the individual discrimination of it. If what is the meaning of Prajñāpāramitā? If it is purity, that is unreasonable, like this, then what is purity at that time? Because there is no self, it is not desired, and because it is destroyed in every moment, it is not mind. If for the mind stream,
