The question is: How should one practice if one practices for a long time? The answer is: From the very beginning of generating the mind of enlightenment. This is the conceptualization of generating the mind of enlightenment. Contemplating until the essence of enlightenment means contemplating how to practice, how to realize, and how to meditate. This is the conceptualization of contemplating the essence of enlightenment. Not opening the opportunity to contemplate the inferior vehicle is the conceptualization of contemplating the inferior vehicle. Not abandoning the contemplation of all-knowingness, one should practice whatever is the nature of reality, and one should practice in such a way that mind and mental events do not arise. This is the conceptualization of not contemplating perfect enlightenment. By meditating on what will one attain all-knowingness? By not meditating on what will one attain all-knowingness? The conceptualization of neither meditating nor not meditating. Attaining it by not meditating is like suchness, the ultimate reality, and the realm of phenomena. This is the conceptualization of not being in accordance with reality. This is the second conceptualization of the apprehended. Regarding the third of the nine categories of conceptualizations, the treatise says: "The sphere of activity imputed to sentient beings, imputation to phenomena and non-emptiness, attachment and the nature of perfect discrimination, making into entities and the three vehicles, qualities that are not pure, and conduct that is extremely confused, that which is the first to grasp, should be known as proclaimed." It means that one should not establish it as a sentient being, because it is invisible. These are the conceptualizations of imputing to sentient beings. Not imputing to all phenomena, this is the conceptualization of imputing to phenomena. Seeing the own-nature of all phenomena as emptiness, this is the conceptualization of non-emptiness. Practicing on phenomena and invisible phenomena, that is also invisible, this is the conceptualization of attachment. Having made various distinctions on phenomena, that is also in an invisible way, this is the conceptualization of the nature of perfect discrimination.

It is not acting for the purpose of things, because all dharmas are uncreated, unchanged, and not manifestly assembled. This is the conceptualization that arises for the purpose of things. If all dharmas are uncreated, unchanged, and not manifestly assembled, then how does the Tathagata manifest an emanation, perfectly awaken into Buddhahood, turn the wheel of Dharma, and liberate beings with the three vehicles? This is merely a conventional expression, not the ultimate truth. The Tathagata is also like this, this is the conceptualization of the three vehicles. If there is no difference between the Tathagata and the emanation, then the merits will also be completely purified, just as the merits offered to the Tathagata will not be exhausted even until the state of nirvana without remainder, and the emanation is also the same. Similarly, scattering flowers in the sky to the Tathagata, or saying "I prostrate to the Buddha," or remembering, or paying attention, the emanation is also the same as the Tathagata, having the same Dharma. This is the conceptualization of merits not being completely purified. Conduct is the perfections and so on. The so-called "separately confused" is to separate. From where does it separate? It separates from the Dharma-nature, from the perfection of generosity to the perfection of wisdom, and between the Dharma-nature of all dharmas. Then, how are the Bhagavan's dharmas separately confused? Thinking about how others enter, they use names and signs to represent the dharmas, this is to show the dharmas, but not to separately confuse the Dharma-nature of the dharmas. This is the conceptualization of the confusion of Dharma-nature. According to the conceptualization of the four categories of nine qualities, it is said in the treatise: "Beings' imputation and its cause, the object-possessing meditation path is connected, by acting to harm it, the other nine kinds of opposing categories, the three pure all-knowing natures, the three aspects of obscuration as their own nature, the peaceful path suchness and so on, similar corresponding and non-corresponding, unequal suffering and all others."
