Therefore, if one truly sees the selflessness of the individual, one will be liberated from the obscurations of afflictions. If one truly sees the selflessness of phenomena, one will be liberated from the obscurations of knowledge. This is like an illusion, and in the chapter on the Essence, it has been explained that the conceptualizations to be abandoned by the path of seeing are abandoned. Therefore, in order to abandon the conceptualizations to be abandoned by the path of seeing through the path of seeing, it is said, "Subhuti, therefore..." and so on. Among them, "therefore" is the reason. "If so" refers to the time of the path of seeing. Prajnaparamita is the nature of the path of seeing, and it is practiced on this path. The reason for asking "Why is that?" is to inquire about the reason for the nature of the path of seeing. Here, Prajnaparamita, that is, Dhyana Paramita, here the word "also" should be understood, therefore it is an abbreviation of what has not been said. If you ask how to know Prajnaparamita? "Subhuti" and so on are said, and it is combined with the complete practice is the six paramitas. The so-called "all" means that each individual also has a collection, meaning that each one has gathered six. Therefore, the six sets of six paramitas are the path of seeing. Bhagavati Mother, here is abbreviated, so only the nature is said here, but each one has gathered everything as it is. These are extensively explained in the Great Perfection of Wisdom Sutra. Here it is said in the treatise: "Giving and so on, each and every dharma, those who hold each other, with the power of one moment of patience, holding that is this holding path." It means that each one itself is each one, and its essence is each one itself. Therefore, "giving and so on, each and every dharma" refers to giving and so on. "Giving and so on, those who hold each other" means one to one, and what is held in it is the direct realization of the peak of the path of seeing, and it is only one moment, not sixteen moments. And this is truly held by the power of patience, not the eight patiences and eight wisdoms. This is the peak of the path of seeing.

Then, the path of meditation is taught as "all skillful means," and so on. Because of being skillful means, it is skillful means. Lion's sport and the samadhi of transcendence are the means, because that is the basis. Skillful means is to observe dependent origination in accordance with the law, and to observe the opposite of the law. From "ignorance conditions action, action conditions consciousness," up to "birth conditions old age and death, and sorrow, lamentation, suffering, mental distress, and turmoil arise," this is in accordance with the law. When ignorance ceases, action ceases. When action ceases, consciousness ceases, from "when birth ceases, old age and death, and sorrow, lamentation, suffering, mental distress, and turmoil" cease, this is the opposite of the law. Among them, the samadhi of lion's sport is like this: first, enter into the first dhyana, then enter into the second, third, and fourth dhyanas, the sphere of infinite space, the sphere of infinite consciousness, the sphere of nothingness, the sphere of neither perception nor non-perception, and the cessation of feeling and perception. Having arisen from the cessation of feeling and perception, enter into the sphere of neither perception nor non-perception, then the sphere of nothingness, then the sphere of infinite consciousness, then the sphere of infinite space, then the fourth dhyana, the third dhyana, the second dhyana, and the first dhyana. The samadhi of transcendence is like this: first, enter into the first dhyana, then the second, third, and fourth dhyanas, the sphere of infinite space, the sphere of infinite consciousness, the sphere of nothingness, the sphere of neither perception nor non-perception, and enter into cessation. Having arisen from that, then the first dhyana, then cessation, then the second dhyana, then cessation, then the third dhyana, then cessation, then the fourth dhyana, then

To the skull. Then to the sphere of infinite space. Then to cessation. Then to the sphere of infinite consciousness. Then to cessation. Then to the sphere of nothingness. Then to cessation. Then to the sphere of neither perception nor non-perception. Then to cessation. Then, abiding in the mind without abandoning (not relinquishing). Then entering into the absorption of cessation. At that time, abiding in the mind without abandoning (not relinquishing). Then to the sphere of neither perception nor non-perception. Then without abandoning (not relinquishing). Then to the sphere of nothingness. Then without abandoning (not relinquishing). Then to the sphere of infinite consciousness. Then without abandoning (not relinquishing). Then to the sphere of infinite space. Then without abandoning (not relinquishing). Then to the fourth dhyana. Then without abandoning (not relinquishing). Then to the third dhyana. Then without abandoning (not relinquishing). Then to the second dhyana. Then without abandoning (not relinquishing). Then to the first dhyana. Then without abandoning (not relinquishing). The mind abides. In this, the first progression has nine places. The second has seventeen. Coming has eighteen. Here in the treatise it is said: Then, having entered into the samadhi of the lion's swiftness, one understands the accordance and discordance with the law of dependent origination. The nine absorptions together with cessation, having gone back and forth in two ways, the consciousness belonging to the desire realm, grasping the boundary of non-equanimity, the absorption of transcendence, one and two, three, four and five, six and seven and eight, having transcended, go differently to the point of cessation. This is what was said. The lion's swiftness is as it is in the sutra. Transcendence is profound, therefore its nature should be explained, therefore one should enter into transcendence. How is it? It is said that the nine absorptions are of two kinds: progression and coming from behind. How does the first one progress? To the point of cessation means that the absorption of cessation is taken as the end. The others are eight, which is the meaning of the previous order. And how does one progress? Therefore, one and two, three, four and five, six and seven and eight.
