It is easy to do. That is the conduct that pleases the Buddhas, that is the twentieth sign for them. These twenty signs are: abiding in the heat, peak, and forbearance positions, as well as the supreme Dharma, one will not regress from perfect Bodhi. This is the conclusion. Abiding in accordance with the parts that clearly distinguish the heat position, etc., that which is symbolized by these twenty signs will not regress from perfect Bodhi, that is the meaning of non-regression. Regarding abiding in the path of seeing, the scriptures say: 'The forbearance of the path of seeing and the sixteen moments of wisdom, should be known as the characteristics of a Bodhisattva who does not regress.' What is that? It is the moment of forbearance and the sixteen moments of wisdom. What are the sixteen? The reversal of the perception of forms, etc., the mind is stable, from the inferior vehicle, the complete cessation of inverted meditative states, etc., lightness of body and mind, skillful practice in desire, constant pure conduct, pure livelihood, those who create obstacles such as aggregates, and those who are endowed with assemblies and powers, etc., in battle, distraction, stinginess, etc., the separate prevention of the abiding of engagement and subsequent engagement, the Dharma does not perceive even a mote of dust, certainty in one's own ground, abiding in the three grounds, sacrificing life for the sake of the Dharma, such sixteen moments are the signs of non-regression for the wise who abide in the path of seeing. Thus it is said. Furthermore, from the one named Rabjor (Subhuti) onwards, it is said up to 'should be taken as non-regression'. Manifestly creating means to generate. That Dharma also refers to forms, etc., not expecting, etc. Here, expectation itself is manifestly creating. That itself does not arise, this has the forbearance of knowing that does not arise, many words should be written. Reversing from the perception of forms, etc., this is the sign of the Dharma-wisdom-forbearance of suffering in the path of seeing, it is the first. Furthermore, from the one named Rabjor (Subhuti) onwards, it is said up to 'should be taken as', the intention reverses to

"ྱེད་" means to separate from desire. "Will know" means through transcendental wisdom. Afflictions are completely decayed. Separation means separating from the mind of enlightenment. "That" refers to perfect and complete enlightenment. "Mind steadfast" means that the mind is steadfast towards perfect and complete enlightenment. This is the second sign of the Dharma-knowledge-patience regarding suffering in the path of seeing. Subhuti, from "furthermore" to "will change," it is said that this is a complete reversal from the lower vehicle. That is the third sign of the subsequent-knowledge-patience regarding suffering in the path of seeing. From "if they want" to "should be known," it is said that the complete exhaustion of the limbs such as meditation weakens the obstacles that generate desire. That is the fourth sign of the subsequent-knowledge regarding suffering in the path of seeing. Subhuti, from "furthermore" to "walks mindfully," here, "not particularly clinging to names" explains the nature of mental lightness. "Does he walk?" and so on, explain the nature of bodily lightness. These two are the fifth sign of the Dharma-knowledge-patience regarding the origin in the path of seeing. From "if he is at home" to "completely enjoys," as it is said, the thought that is spoken of is the means. Having that means and enjoying desire, that is the sixth sign of the Dharma-knowledge regarding the origin in the path of seeing. From "the five objects of desire" to "should be taken," because it further increases joy, it is the nature of joy. Because it further increases happiness, it is the nature of happiness. "Not pursuing meaning" means constantly not pursuing meaning, just as there is no attachment to the formless realm. "Not living by equality or inequality" means not living by reason or unreason. How then does one live? It is said, "only the Dharma." Harm is suffering. The five factors of liberation, the four factors of discernment, and the path of seeing
