The so-called 'breaking' is the second (part) of karma. 'How' and so on, then, explain other reasons, the so-called 'everywhere' means in all realms of the world. 'All dharmas' refers to all things. 'Non-discrimination' is because one does not discriminate against them. 'Non-discrimination' means that it itself abandons all discrimination. 'Thus' refers to non-discrimination towards everything, and non-discrimination itself. 'Indestructible' is unseverable. 'Thus' and so on is the conclusion. 'How' and so on, then, explain other reasons, the so-called 'no separation' means not observing other differences. 'Because of non-duality, this is also non-other and suchness, therefore it is the suchness of non-other'. Following it means following the Tathagata in conventional truth. The ultimate truth is explained by 'in this anything' and so on, the so-called 'in this' means in this following, there is no benefit or anything. 'Where' refers to the Tathagata. Approaching by following this. Thus, it means seeing no-self in persons and dharmas. Thus and so on is the conclusion. 'How' and so on, then, explain other reasons. Thus and so on is the conclusion. This is the nature of no birth. From 'the suchness of the Tathagata' to 'the suchness of becoming a Buddha' that is said, here the suchness of everything is the prevention of seeing differences in differences and non-differences. The suchness of all these forms and so on is invisible. This is the nature of invisibility, the sixteenth (kind). The great essence of this suchness, then, explains 'that this is' and so on. Gone means the meaning of knowing, the Tathagata therefore means thus gone. At this teaching, whatever is shaken, is also explained by 'Tathagata' and so on, that is, how it becomes six or eighteen great signs and shakes.

English

From "shaking everywhere" to "utterly clamorous," here, the three refer to the meaning of shaking. The three refer to the meaning of sound, and these six encompass the distinctions of small, medium, and large, resulting in eighteen great signs. Among them, shaking originates from one direction, quaking originates from all directions, and shaking everywhere is leaping. "Chemcem" is like hail struck by a stick, "hurhur" is sound, and "shikshik" is like a great thunderclap. The six aspects are like, if the east side of the earth is high, the west side is low; if the west side is high, the east side is low; if the south side is high, the north side is low; if the north side is high, the south side is low; if the center is high, the periphery is low; and if the periphery is high, the center is low. When is it? When it is said, "at that time," etc., just as the Tathagata manifests enlightenment, when Subhuti shows Suchness, eighteen great signs appear. Similarly shown in other ways as well, that is, from "Furthermore, the venerable one" to "unobtainable." "It is not existent" means making a vow, and "not perceived" means the reason. By what? By one's own Dharma. Arising subsequently is the meaning of the agent. What is "what"? It is the Dharma of the Tathagata. Arising subsequently is karma. "Like that" is the conclusion. How should Suchness be practiced? Only at that time. From "From then on, it is Suchness," etc., it is easy to understand. "However" means, if it is so. "Thirty-three" refers to the fifth of the meaning of separation. That bird thinks it is capable because of its large body. Thinking there means thinking between the sky and the earth. What do you think of this? It refers to the arising of such discriminations. The rest is easy to understand. Here, after showing the characteristics of knowledge, difference, action, and self-nature, what is in accordance with the liberation aspect of the Bodhisattvas is to be spoken, that is, if the Bodhisattvas are separated from this, the cause of attaining Arhatship is shown and symbolized, and in order to clearly show this, Shariputra asked.
