Being distracted by others, such as asking questions. Degeneration from the best taste means abandoning food with eight flavors, like sixty kinds of food. Degeneration from the best qualities means that precious gems are the same as ordinary agate gems. Attachment to letters means not understanding the meaning of Dharma. Attachment to non-existent things means killing special methods. Focusing on places, etc., means focusing on villages and cities, etc. Degeneration from enjoying the taste of gain, respect, and verses means being lost in the eight worldly dharmas. This is the chapter on the works of Mara, the thirty-second. The third group, whether speaker or listener, degenerates by being seized by desire and laziness; degenerates because the objects of desire are different; degenerates because of the size of desire and non-size; whether or not possessing the qualities of learning; good and non-good; unwilling to accept emptiness; understanding through generosity, stinginess, and mentioning the beginning; through discrimination; knowing and not knowing the twelve divisions of scripture; whether or not possessing the six perfections. The fourth group, whether or not possessing skillful means; whether or not obtaining dharani; whether or not willing to ask about letters; whether or not separated from the desire of desire; turning away from going to evil destinies; feeling happy about going to good destinies; liking to be alone and liking groups; being closely related to desire; unwilling to give that; not distinguishing occasions when fulfilling desires; going or not going to places disturbed by thieves, etc.; the work of Mara that makes one familiar with home; going to places where food is scarce; the distinction of Mara; approaching falsehood; being deceived by things that are not as they are. Why is it that the Prajnaparamita does not have from form to omniscience? Because there are no noble beings in it. The example of obstacles occurring in the Prajnaparamita is shown by the example of precious gems having many enemies. Beginners will encounter Mara, but those who have practiced will not, because all the Buddhas of the ten directions will protect them. Briefly explaining the characteristics: what is used to symbolize

There, the knowable is also knowledge, difference, and the three of the author, self-nature and characteristics. Among them, Prajnaparamita is the mother, and the Buddhas of the ten directions are shown to be sons. For example, a woman has many sons, and they think, how can we make our mother live long and without obstacles? So they respectfully serve, thinking that no matter what, they must let the mother who gave birth to us show the world. Similarly, the Buddhas of the ten directions are also born of the mother, and showing the world is Prajnaparamita, which is shown from meditation to omniscience, so it is called Buddha. The characteristic of knowledge is that relying on this mother, one knows that the base, path, and appearance are unborn. The characteristic of difference is that it surpasses the path of Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas. The characteristic of the author is that the Bodhisattva relies on the mother to show, and accomplishes the meaning of sentient beings. The characteristic of self-nature is the self-nature of not generating afflictions, the self-nature of generating Bodhicitta, and being inconsistent with worldly behavior, etc. This is a brief explanation. The sixteen characteristics of basic wisdom are: Tathagata appears, the self of the world's impermanence, the realm of sentient beings' minds, the aspect of inexhaustibility, what is contained by it and looking back, greed, etc. and vastness, becoming great and immeasurable, and consciousness cannot be shown, the mind cannot be seen and knowledge, shaking, etc. are called, and besides, they are also, the aspect of suchness, the able one truly realizes, showing others is called this, at the time of omniscience, it is said to be the characteristic of basic wisdom. It is said like this. Among them, the appearance of the Tathagata means that this mother gives birth to the ten powers, the four fearlessnesses, etc. Showing the world means that the mother shows the five aggregates as the world. The impermanence of the world means that the mother's five aggregates do not appear as destruction and acceptance, etc. Because there is nothing to indicate from form to omniscience. The realm of sentient beings' minds means that the Tathagata relies on the mother and does not cling to anything from form to omniscience.
