The Explanation of the Hundred Thousand Verses, by the Kashmiri Pandit Dharmaśrī. The Explanation of the Hundred Thousand Verses. The Kashmiri Pandit Dharmaśrī. The Explanation of the Hundred Thousand Verses is established. The Explanation of the Hundred Thousand Verses. Homage to the noble Mañjuśrī! Those who lead the Śrāvakas, seekers of peace, to near quiescence with omniscience, and those who desire to benefit beings, accomplish the purpose of the world with the knowledge of the path, and those who possess the truth, the Sugatas, who have spoken of all these various aspects, I pay homage to the Mother who possesses the assembly of Buddhas, Śrāvakas, and Bodhisattvas! There are two ways of teaching the Prajñāpāramitā: how the Emanation of the perfectly complete Buddha acted in the past, and the order of subsequent realization. There are two aspects to the former: the excellent completeness of speaking about the cause of the arising of the Sutra's qualities, the precious jewel, and the encouragement of speaking about the condition of the arising of the Sutra's qualities, the precious jewel. There are two bases for speaking: the common basis for speaking is: Thus have I heard at one time, the Blessed One was in Rājagṛha on Vulture Peak Mountain, with a great Saṅgha of five thousand monks, and it was taught with the five perfections, etc. The uncommon basis for speaking is taught by the uncommon retinue and the uncommon teacher. There are two types of retinue: the Śrāvakas who seek peace are the Saṅgha of monks. Leading to near quiescence is the fourteen qualities, such as the Arhat. The Prajñāpāramitā of omniscience is the path. Those who benefit beings are Bodhisattvas such as Bhadrapāla. Accomplishing the purpose of the world is all the qualities such as obtaining perfect Dhāraṇīs. The knowledge of the path itself is the path. The uncommon teacher is the Blessed One himself who prepared the lion throne, assumed the vajra posture, straightened his body, and brought his intention to the fore, which is "the Sugatas." "Speaking of these various aspects that possess all forms" shows the three kinds of miracles, and with the miracle of Samādhi, the world of vessels is purified and the sentient beings are completely matured.

Among the two activities, there are the King of Samadhi and the Lion's Play. The King of Samadhi has four aspects: radiating light from the entire body, from the pores, from the natural light, and from the power of the tongue. The Lion's Play Samadhi purifies sentient beings in five ways: purifying the stream of bad migrations, purifying human faults, generating altruistic intention, generating virtuous intention, and especially proclaiming these. The miracles of magical display have four aspects: subduing with magical power, causing disciples to have faith, blessing offerings, and showing that disciples possess good fortune. In the magical display of gathering retinues, there are ten realms, ten Tathagatas, ten Bodhisattvas, ten questions, ten answers, ten requests, ten permissions, and ten who came here to serve and make offerings. In the eastern world called the World of Possessing Jewels, there is a Tathagata named Jewel Source residing and living. There, a Bodhisattva Mahasattva named All Light dwells. Seeing a great light appear in the world and a great earthquake, and seeing the Tathagata's form, which is never satisfied by looking, he asked, "What is the cause and condition of this?" He replied, "To the west, beyond worlds as numerous as the sands of the Ganges River, there is a world called the Sahā World. There, the Tathagata, Arhat, Perfectly Complete Buddha, Shakyamuni Buddha, resides and lives. He teaches the Prajnaparamita to the Bodhisattva Mahasattvas. This is his power." The Bodhisattva All Light asked, "We also wish to go to see the Tathagata." The Buddha permitted, "If you know the time has come, go to that world and act carefully in that land," and so on. Then, after making offerings to the Buddhas, the Bhagavan of the east, with the Bodhisattva's magical power and great strength, they went to where the Bhagavan Shakyamuni Buddha was. They asked the Bhagavan if he was well.
