The Protector said: Among the nine grounds, there is the great; the great, etc., of defilements; through the door of antidotes, there is the small; the small, etc., is the path. To dispel disputes, this says that the three realms and nine grounds are substantial, and that what is to be abandoned and the antidote are of the nature of self, which is a dispute, so to dispel it. The path is the measure and what is to be measured, by equality, it is the antidote of the three realms that is desired. It is said that these are the nine kinds of purity spoken to Shariputra. What are the purities? The purity of form is profound. The purity of form is appearance. The purity of form is without change and without continuity. The purity of form, because of its self-nature of luminosity, is without all afflictions. The purity of form is without attainment. The purity of form is without manifestation. The purity of form, because of its self-nature of emptiness, is without birth in the three realms. The purity, because of its self-nature of emptiness, is neither medicine nor harm. The purity of form, because the Dharma has no mind, is not sought. Among the unshared Dharmas of the Buddhas, all of these should be known. Subhuti asked: For the sake of my purity, from form to all-knowingness, everything is pure. Because of the emptiness that is without beginning or end, and the emptiness that transcends boundaries, from form to all-knowingness, everything is limitless. The six answers of the base knowledge are: The Prajnaparamita of the base of self-nature is non-attachment to samsara and nirvana, if attached to name and sentence it is far, if not attached it is close to the mother, and non-attachment to what is to be abandoned and the antidote, and not applying to anything such as form, and no arrogance towards form, etc., and understanding that there is no arising or ceasing of form, etc., this is the condensed meaning. The nature of the base knowledge is: This shore, the other shore, not the edge, not dwelling between them, knowing the equality of the three times, therefore it is called Prajnaparamita. It is said that this shore is samsara, the other shore is nirvana, the reason for not dwelling there is the purity of the three times. It is far because it is not a means, through the door of grasping at characteristics, it is skillful in means.

Sa. And the reality is closely explained. It is said that the Prajñāpāramitā is far away because it is grasped by the names and characteristics of the Hearers and Solitary Realizers. This Mother is close because it is realized by the Bodhisattva as unspeakable and inconceivable. Form, etc., aggregates are emptiness, all phenomena belonging to the three times, generosity, etc., the aspects of enlightenment, the aspects that are not contrary to the thought of practice. There is no ego-grasping on generosity, etc., others who make combinations with it, it is the one who cuts off the edge of attachment, the Victorious One, etc., attachment is subtle. It is said that the aspect of disagreeing with the intention on the object of view is that if one intends on emptiness and the three times from form to omniscience, then it is attachment. The intention on the Mother of Practice is to think of practicing on perfections, etc. Non-attachment is the opposite of that, others are placed on it and the edge of attachment is cut off. The aspect of disagreeing with attachment to the Victorious One or the fruit is. The command said, the subtle attachment is shown to be the intention of the root of virtue of the Thus-Gone One is attachment. Its antidote. The realm of Dharma is by nature, because of solitude, it is very profound. All phenomena are without self-nature, by knowing, attachment is abandoned. Because seeing, etc., are prevented, it is said to be difficult to realize. Because form, etc., are not understood, it is said to be inconceivable. It is said that all phenomena know self-nature emptiness, without grasper and grasped, is beyond mind. Its summary is, thus the way of knowing all, the disagreeing aspects and antidotes, how this is explained, is the twenty-eighth chapter of the pure chapter. The combiner, form, etc., are impermanent, etc., it is incomplete and very complete, the combination of preventing practice, there is no attachment to it, there is no unchanging agent, the three difficult combinations, because the fruit is obtained according to the share, the desire for fruit is that and, whatever does not depend on others and, the seven kinds of appearances are knowers. So it goes. Subhuti asked, how does the Bodhisattva practice the Mother? The answer is, if one does not practice between form and omniscience, then one practices the Mother, it is said to be the combination of form, etc. The combination of impermanence, etc., is from form to
