Fourth (chapter). This chapter discusses the intermediate heat and the supreme heat. There are three types of peak positions: great, intermediate, and small. There are two types of forbearance positions: small and intermediate, totaling seven. Forms and so on are neither born nor destroyed, are separate from dwelling, do not dwell, are not designated, and are unspeakable. Such as these, the objects of the intermediate heat position are that forms and so on are neither born nor destroyed, so they do not dwell anywhere. I have not seen or known the increase or decrease of all phenomena in this way. If I were to increase or decrease by merely naming them as Bodhisattva or Prajnaparamita, I would regret it. The Bhagavan has not truly seen the increase or decrease from form to the ultimate limit. If they are not seen, what name should be given to Bodhisattva? The names of those dharmas do not abide, do not end, and are not blessed. Why? Because there is no name, so there is no dwelling and so on. Therefore, one should not dwell between form and all omniscience. The objects of the supreme heat position are that all imputed dharmas are unspeakable. The name Bodhisattva, and the naming and imputation of any dharma, are merely imputed and unspeakable. For example, the name of a dream cannot be spoken by anyone. Likewise, illusion and so on, suchness and so on, and generosity to the ultimate limit cannot be spoken by anyone. The samadhi of the peak position is: Forms and so on do not abide in them, they have no essence. Their one essence is one, and they do not abide in permanence and so on. They are empty of their essence, and whoever does not grasp the dharmas does not see them as signs, so all are completely understood by wisdom as having no object. So it is said. The objects of the small peak position are that one should not abide in the impermanence of the five aggregates, pleasure and pain, self and no-self, peace and non-peace, emptiness and non-emptiness, signs and no signs, wishes and no wishes, solitude and non-solitude. The appearance of the small peak position. Why? Because permanence and impermanence and so on are empty of their own essence. What is emptiness is also other

It is not so. Forms, etc., are also not other. Thus, the nature of reality is connected between suchness and the ultimate limit. The aspect of showing the dissimilar peak is: When a Bodhisattva engages with the mother, due to unskilled means, he clings to the self, and with a mind abiding in clinging to the self, if he abides in form, he engages in the manifestation of form, but does not engage in the Prajnaparamita. Why is that? Because a Bodhisattva who engages in manifestation is not completely grasped by the Prajnaparamita, and does not enter into meditative absorption, therefore he does not arise as the all-knowingness. Similarly, apply it to all. The object of the middle peak, not grasping phenomena, why is that? Form is that which is not completely grasped, and whatever is not completely grasped, form is not real because it is empty of its own nature. Likewise, up to the ultimate limit. In any case, one should contemplate in such a way that the mind does not change towards any phenomenon. The mandala of Samadhi that does not grasp all phenomena will definitely arise as all-knowingness, and all-knowingness is also not grasped because it is the eighteen emptinesses. The middle peak's not seeing all aspects as signs is that from form up to the eighteen unmixed qualities of the Buddha are signs. If one clings to signs, then the wandering string-wearer will not gain faith, and that wanderer also enters with ordinary wisdom and does not completely grasp the five aggregates. Why is that? Because one does not truly see inwardly and outwardly in the manner of realizing and attaining that wisdom. Why is that? Because one does not see the four aspects inwardly and outwardly from form up to the ultimate limit. Thereupon, the wanderer develops faith, and because all phenomena are ungraspable, from form up to the ultimate limit, there is no grasping, this is the Paramita that has no other shore. The object of the great peak is completely realized by wisdom. What is the Prajnaparamita? Whose? What? Why is it the Prajnaparamita?
