What are the nine aspects of the second kind of apprehension? Because of falling into existence and peace, as well as inferior thinking, not fully grasping, the aspect of accomplishment is incomplete, going by other conditions, actions are reversed, short-lived and diverse, ignorant of place and entry, and called following after. These nine natures of conceptualization are the support of the reversing side, arising from the minds of Śrāvakas and others. It is said: Inferior is indeed weak. The essence of the faults of inferior thinking and so on, which should be abandoned by the Bodhisattva, these nine aspects are the support of the reversing side. Because of seeking the meaning of existence and peace without abandoning, it arises from the minds of Śrāvakas and others. Because not observing the grasping of what exists as substance, therefore it is not saṃsāra. Because the five pāramitās are not nirvāṇa, therefore what should the sixth do, this is a challenge. The sixth is abandoning conceptualization, so it is the answer. Even if there are already the five pāramitās, if there is no sixth, it will become inferior thinking and so on, this is the conceptualization of inferior thinking and so on. Their antidote is: the sixth is only non-conceptualization, its benefits are from the beginning of "Then the venerable Subhūti" to "It is very rare" that is said. From the two words "For example", it is the conceptualization of inferior thinking. From the eight words "For example", it is the eight conceptualizations. Because there is no sixth, even the names of the five pāramitās cannot be obtained, therefore, one will not attain the Buddha's bodhi by obtaining the six pāramitās, and will fall into saṃsāra. There is also peace, because not observing the grasping of what exists as substance, this is the conceptualization of inferior thinking. If the five are truly completely grasped by the sixth, they will not be overcome by Māras and others, if there is no sixth, there is none of it, this is the conceptualization of not fully grasping. If they are allocated to the position of the sixth, it is difficult to be overcome by Māras and others, if there is no sixth, there is none of it.

That which is called is the discrimination that obscures the aspect of practice. The word 'condition' means dependence. It should be understood that it must be certain that it is only due to other conditions, and not due to one's own continuum. Therefore, their attainment of great enlightenment depends entirely on the sixth, and it is not possible without the sixth. This is the discrimination of proceeding by other conditions. Just as the water of the Ganges merges other tributaries into the ocean, in order to proceed to the enlightenment of the Buddha, the sixth of the five is necessary, and without the sixth, there is nothing. This is the discrimination that contradicts what is necessary. The sixth is the one who accomplishes everything, while the five are one-sided. Therefore, without the sixth, even if it does not appear in the nature of the person, it can exhaust the obscuration of afflictions, but it cannot exhaust the obscuration of knowledge. This is a one-sided discrimination. The five are integrated into the sixth, because they are of the same taste as the sixth, so they will attain the other shore. Therefore, they are not different from the sixth, and without the sixth, they will become different. This is the discrimination of various natures. For example, the army of the wheel-turning king, without the movement of the precious wheel, cannot move or dwell in dwelling and entering, because they do not understand themselves. Similarly, because the sixth is the all-knowing of all aspects, if they move and dwell in it, the five follow the sixth, and without the sixth, there is nothing. This is the discrimination of being confused about dwelling and entering. Just like someone with eyes, the sixth, because it is the all-knowing of all aspects, guides first, and then, like a blind person, is guided by the five. Without the sixth, they cannot go forward. This is the discrimination of following, because the proximate cause is established for the result. These are the nine aspects of the second of the apprehended discriminations. What are the nine aspects of the first of the apprehending discriminations? They are taking and giving separately, attention and the elements, all three are closely related, as well as dwelling and manifest attachment, and the Dharma of
