The first chapter. Regarding "accomplishing and truly accomplishing": Accomplishing refers to earnestly engaging with the Blessed Mother through listening and including faith, and then through "desire is practice," etc. From "immediately after hearing, faith arises" to the content in between, it is the distinction of accomplishing, which is the second moment. Truly accomplishing is the result, that is, immediately after hearing, faith arises, etc., those will truly and completely become perfect enlightenment. Or, after hearing this, faintness, ignorance, and cowardice, etc., those are inferior enlightenment. From "please ask" to "it should be known to abide in one of them," the content in between is with the distinction of truly accomplishing, which is the third moment. The so-called "object of focus," for example, like a person whose boat is wrecked in the great ocean, if they grab onto a corpse, wood, and planks, etc., that person will reach land before dying in the intermediate state. Similarly, the Blessed Mother, from the Perfection of Wisdom, etc., to all-knowingness, whatever is practiced, those, before dying in the intermediate state, without directly realizing inferior enlightenment, will directly realize perfect and complete enlightenment. If, Subhuti, like this, from "will directly realize perfect and complete enlightenment" to the content in between, what is said is with the distinction of the object of focus, which is the fourth moment of cessation. The so-called "having a basis," that is, accompanied by a basis, is having a basis, for everything, relying on the word "having" is a neutral sign. The basis of the path is a Bodhisattva, who, through the completely matured stages of the Perfection of Wisdom and skillful means, etc., will directly realize perfect and complete enlightenment, and will not fall into the inferior enlightenment of the intermediate state. For example, a well-fired vase filled with water, if taken home, will not break and fall to the ground in the intermediate state. Subhuti, like this, from "will realize enlightenment" to the content in between, what is said is with the distinction of the basis, which is the first moment of the truth of the path. The so-called "everything" is
