With the eyes of... Just as an unborn flower is not a flower, from the unarisen form is not form, an unborn perfectly complete Buddha is not a perfectly complete Buddha, this is said to be the lineage like a rhinoceros horn. Here the author says: In order to realize the self-born nature, even if others teach, it is not needed, the wisdom like a rhinoceros horn, appears as profound. Thus it is said. Teaching by others means being taught by others. Not needing it and the profundity of wisdom, these two are like a rhinoceros horn, called Pratyekabuddha. Why is it not needed? Because they realize it with self-born nature. How does it benefit others like a rhinoceros horn? Only through intention. How does one hear from them? Only through wanting to hear. That is: To whomever, whatever the matter, however one listens, to him, even without sound, that meaning, appears to him in that way. Thus it is said. Then, how much of the noble path is obtained from them? In order to weaken the conceptualization of what is taken, and because the grasping is not abandoned, relying on these, it should be known that the path like a rhinoceros horn is truly gathered. Thus it is said. Without contradicting the imputed Dharma nature, the way of showing becomes warm, the form etc. that becomes the peak, is distinguished by not decreasing etc., with inner emptiness etc., forbearance for not grasping form etc., having the aspects of form etc. unproduced etc., is the supreme of Dharma. For this, form etc. does not contradict the imputation, therefore showing the Dharma nature of form etc., its aspect is warm. The aspect of form etc. without increase and decrease is the peak. The aspect of preventing the complete grasping of all Dharmas with sixteen inner emptiness etc. is forbearance. The ten aspects of form etc. each having no birth and no cessation etc. are the supreme of Dharma. The Sutra is below the lineage like a rhinoceros horn. After that, the Blessed One said to Indra, the lord of the gods, starting from "For those who study all-knowingness, there should be no duality, but should study the countless and immeasurable Buddha Dharma."

The part between is the warm stage. From what is called "no more learning" for the sake of increasing and decreasing form, to what is called "no more learning for the sake of completely grasping and eliminating form" is the peak stage. Starting from "Why is that?", up to "By not holding onto all phenomena, it becomes omniscient" is the stage of forbearance. After that, from the manner of "no more learning, no arising" to "the supreme of Dharma" is the supreme of Dharma. That is the instruction of the path of the solitary Buddha. After that, when the path of the Bodhisattva is to be spoken of, first, a summary of the meaning of the sutra of the path of seeing and its benefits is: With truth and forbearance of truth, and four moments of wisdom, the path of seeing is the wisdom of the path, this is said with benefits. Thus it is said, there are four moments for each truth. Two forbearances and two wisdoms, namely, the forbearance of Dharma-knowledge of suffering, the Dharma-knowledge of suffering, the forbearance of subsequent-knowledge of suffering, and the subsequent-knowledge of suffering. Likewise for origin, cessation, and path. These are here called the path of seeing, which is the wisdom of the path. To elaborate on the benefits: Suchness and the Buddhas, because of mutual dependence and non-dependence, do not acknowledge names, and are endowed with greatness and immeasurability, immeasurability and the absence of limit, the form and so on that abide there, are determined as Buddhahood, and there is no acceptance, no rejection, and so on, and loving-kindness and so on pervade emptiness, Buddhahood is complete holding, and all purity, and the elimination of fear and all diseases, holding onto the peace of Nirvana, and the protection of the Buddhas, and so on, not killing and so on, in the manner of all-knowing, from dwelling in oneself, establishing beings, and giving and so on, dedicating to perfect enlightenment, is a moment of the wisdom of the path. Thus, five verses have been spoken, being with immeasurability is being together with immeasurability, that is, the meaning of greatness and immeasurability. Only the limit is the limit itself, that is, measurable and limit itself. The absence of these is immeasurable and the absence of limit itself.
