It is said with these words. Here, wanting to learn means wanting unobstructed wisdom. This itself is to fully understand each of its confidences. Like this and so on, it is shown by example. Just as one should learn this through distinctions, one should also learn the Dharma, meaning, and definitive words, that is its meaning. Suchness, the limit of truth, absence of characteristics, and so on, here is to fully understand each Dharma. The nature of this is to completely transcend the eleven natures, like this: Completely transcending the nature of the object of grasping, completely transcending the nature of the grasper, completely transcending the nature of things, and so on, this is to fully understand each meaning. Suchness is always such because it does not change. Truth is suchness. Its limit is the peak, because there is no higher suchness than it, so it is called the limit of truth and so on, this is to fully understand each definitive word. Those limitless Dharmas are limitless, encompassed by the fourfold fully understanding of each. The extensive content should be understood from the Abhidharma teachings. This is just an example, explained with "other" and so on. This is also to fully understand each confidence, because it is understood and comprehended through many atoms. Having reliance is like a king, because it is the cause of not wasting. Because the king's iron hook does not let those people fall, so the hook of reliance is also like a Bodhisattva. This is also explained with the two sentences of "other" and so on, and the two sentences of question and answer. Knowing like this is knowing that itself, relying on meaning and not on words, therefore, even if the Dharma is taught in the language of ordinary people, they will listen respectfully. In the second sentence of "other," skillful in means should give, the Prajnaparamita of the giver and so on, which is unobtainable, emptiness is established through reasoning, it is through reasoning that it has characteristics. Therefore, one should rely on the Dharma. Like this, all Dharmas are emptiness.

To the person who says "no," say "no." The Buddha, the Bhagavan, is the supreme measure, therefore, rely on the sutras of definitive meaning, not on the sutras of provisional meaning. The wisdom that arises from meditation is prajna. That which arises from hearing and thinking is vijnana, therefore, what is seen by prajna is not seen by vijnana. Therefore, rely on prajna, not on vijnana. These two reliances are declared in the manner of questions and answers. Therefore, the Buddha, the Bhagavan, has ascertained this, and one should rely on it. After that, Shariputra is vijnana, he is the questioner. The Tathagata is prajna, he is the one who answers. Having the accumulation of merit and wisdom is like a treasury, because it is the place of many accumulations of merit and wisdom. Moreover, it is spoken with nine words, of which seven words show the great mass of the accumulation of merit arising from discipline and meditation, because without these two, such supernormal knowledge is impossible. The eighth word shows the merit arising from generosity, and these three show merit. The ninth shows the accumulation of wisdom. Having the aspects of enlightenment is like a great path, because all noble beings have gone and followed it. This is also spoken with three verses beginning with "Moreover." Here, the Prajnaparamita is the nature of the thirty-seven factors of enlightenment. All others are shown as its fruit. Having shamatha and vipashyana is like a vehicle, because it is easy to carry. This is also spoken separately, starting from "Shravaka" and so on, up to wanting to see the fields of the past Tathagatas and so on. Here, the Prajnaparamita is the nature of shamatha and vipashyana. All others are its fruit. Because there is water here, it is water, and in the sense of having, "a" should be added as an ending. It is both decoration and water, so it is decorated water.

My pride is like a warehouse, able to hold an inexhaustible supply of water, and in accordance with the Dharma, able to grasp and impart the Dharma and its meaning, both heard and unheard. This is what is said from "the eastern direction" to "the upper direction." Having the ability to expound the Dharma is like a joyful sound, in order to make pleasant sounds heard to those beings who desire liberation. This is by revealing the four seals of the Dharma through the teachings and explanations of the ten directions, such as the eastern direction. Here, the Perfection of Wisdom also reveals the four seals of the Dharma in all realms of the ten directions. The four seals of the Dharma are: all conditioned phenomena are impermanent, all contaminated phenomena are suffering, all phenomena are without self, and nirvana is peace. A river refers to a stream of water. Having a single path is like the flow of a river, for if one attains forbearance of the unborn Dharma, it will naturally arise. The single path itself refers to the fact that the activities of the Bodhisattvas belonging to it are not different. This is expressed by mentioning words such as blind and deaf in the ten directions such as the east. Here, the Perfection of Wisdom is the characteristic of the single path. All others are its fruits. Having skillful means is like a cloud, just as all the wealth of the vessel world comes from clouds. By showing how to dwell in the realm of Tushita and so on, one benefits all sentient beings, because everything depends on this method. This is what is said from "the conduct of the Tathagata" to "the five objects of desire." These reveal the twenty-two types of aspiration. Now the instructions will be spoken, the speaking in order to be understood is the instruction, it is the close instruction of the essential meaning of perfect completeness. This again has ten aspects according to the difference of place: practice and the truths, as well as the Three Jewels such as the Buddha, non-attachment, complete non-weariness, and complete mastery of the path.
