The term "as" means just as it will be explained. The term "abiding in" means abiding with a mind of purity and the nature of desire. The term "the way of not abiding" means not abiding, and not perceiving the abider and the place of abiding. Being endowed with conjunction is like the waxing moon, because virtuous dharmas will increase. And it is said, "Thus," etc. "Thus" means according to the order of what is said. "Abiding" means abiding in what is thought. The waxing moon is the collection of all white dharmas from mindfulness and close abiding up to great equanimity. Conjunction means familiarity. That is, arising and increasing, like the waxing moon. In order to be able to particularly understand, thought is superior thought. Being associated with it is like fire, from then on it becomes different like fire due to the difference of wood. And it is said, "All-knowing wisdom," etc. Here also, because of desiring special dharmas, it indicates superior thought. After that, when speaking of the six kinds of mind generation that possess the six perfections, therefore, when speaking of their nature as five kinds, namely, the nature of lineage, the nature of aspiration, the nature of thought, the nature of things, and the nature of self. Among them, lineage is the nature of dharma, any bodhisattva abiding in any nature of dharma and abiding in the mind of enlightenment, with a mind of compassion as the forerunner, completely gives away all things. Likewise, guarding all the vows that have been truly taken, likewise, not taking to heart all harm, and enduring suffering, and patience of definitely believing in the Dharma. Likewise, being happy to accomplish all the virtuous dharmas of body, speech, and mind actions, the order is as follows: the perfections of generosity, discipline, patience, and diligence. Likewise, subduing all aspects with the actions of body, speech, and mind, the mind abiding in all aspects, and being good at distinguishing dharmas in all aspects, those are the perfections of meditation and wisdom in that order.

Pa'o. Being endowed with generosity is like a great treasure, satisfying countless sentient beings with material possessions and being inexhaustible. That is, it is said of those who are stingy, and so on. Being endowed with the perfection of discipline is like a source of jewels, because all the qualities of jewels arise from it. That is, it is said of those who are immoral, and so on. The source of jewels is mountains and so on where jewels arise. Being endowed with the perfection of patience is like the ocean, because it is not disturbed by all sources of fear. That is, it is said of those who are harmful, and so on. Being endowed with the perfection of diligence is like a vajra, because it is strong due to its indestructibility. That is, it is said of those who are lazy, and so on. Being endowed with the perfection of meditation is like the king of mountains, because it is not moved by distraction. That is, it is said of those with distracted minds, and so on. Being endowed with the perfection of wisdom is like the king of medicine, because it completely pacifies the diseases of all obscurations. That is, it is said of those with immoral wisdom, and so on. Being endowed with the four immeasurables is like a great friend, because one does not abandon sentient beings in all circumstances. The four immeasurables are love, compassion, joy, and equanimity, which are directed towards immeasurable sentient beings. In order, they generate happiness, eliminate suffering, abide in happiness, and generate samadhi with the thought of possessing the antidote to afflictions. That is, from the mere arising of a single moment of virtuous thought, up to the point of not being separated from the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, as it is said. Here, "for all sentient beings" means for the benefit of all sentient beings. This should be applied both above and below. The phrase "for the benefit of all sentient beings" should also be added to "desiring to be patient." "Caring for sentient beings" means cherishing sentient beings. This is ཕ

It should also be combined. Here, the three words indicate the immeasurable, and the remaining words indicate its fruit. Having clairvoyance is like a wish-fulfilling jewel, because one can obtain its fruit as desired. From "wanting to be inseparable from the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas," it is declared with three words such as "furthermore." Here, "wanting to abide" means wanting to abide for a long time. "What and what" means with clairvoyance. Having the means of gathering is like the sun, because it can fully ripen the crops of those to be tamed. Furthermore, in order to indicate the means of gathering in order, it is declared with four words such as "furthermore." Gathering sentient beings means truly gathering sentient beings, so it is gathering. Its means are methods, namely generosity, kind speech, beneficial action, and acting in accordance with the Dharma. Among them, the main one is kind speech, which is the explanation of the six perfections. "Wanting to make inexhaustible" means benefiting sentient beings. "Declaring" means acting in accordance with the Dharma. Having individual correct knowledge is like the beautiful song of a Gandharva, because it is the teaching of the Dharma that makes those to be tamed arise with intention. Furthermore, it is declared with three words such as "furthermore," like this, knowing directly and without obstruction by the power of samadhi is correct knowledge. Knowing completely and truly is individual correct knowledge. It is also divided into four types according to the difference of objects, namely, individual correct knowledge of Dharma, individual correct knowledge of meaning, individual correct knowledge of words, and individual correct knowledge of eloquence. Among them, Dharma is the nomenclature of all Dharmas. Meaning is their nature. Words are their defining terms. Eloquence is their classification. All these Dharmas are two, because they are encompassed by Dharma and Dharmata. Among them, Dharmata is mainly emptiness, from inner emptiness and so on up to the limit of reality, and Suchness and so on.
