The three doors of liberation are: The nature of one's own characteristics is the completely imputed, and its essence is completely non-existent, therefore it is emptiness. The nature of the perfectly established is inexpressible, therefore it is signlessness, so it is signlessness. The nature of the other-powered is delusion, because it appears as a non-existent nature. The root of delusion is also affliction, therefore it should be abandoned, not desired, therefore it is wishlessness. The eleven knowledges are as stated in the sutra: Knowing that suffering does not arise is knowing that the arising of suffering does not arise. The so-called knowing of abandonment is the abandonment of the nature of the completely imputed, such as afflictions, which is knowing it. The so-called knowing the cessation of suffering is knowing the cessation of suffering. By what path can cessation be directly realized, is knowing that by that path cessation can be directly realized, and by this suffering can be ceased. Knowing the exhaustion of desire, etc., is knowing exhaustion. Knowing that desire, etc., does not arise is knowing that it does not arise. Knowing the direct realization of liberation is knowing the Dharma. Knowing impermanence, etc., is knowing by recollection, which is knowing by recollection. Because it solely focuses on one type of completely imputed, knowing the minds of others is conventional knowing. Familiarity with the path is habituation to the path. Knowing according to the sound is knowing the languages of all devas and humans, such as the Tathagatas. The three faculties are as stated in the sutra: Because they are the masters of pure dharmas, they are faculties. In whichever faculty there is the ability to make everything that is not understood understood, it is called that. The all-knowing faculty and the guarding all-knowing faculty are the faculties that possess all-knowing. The so-called signlessness is because the four inversions of the Hearers, etc., do not appear, and all the elaborations of the Bodhisattvas have ceased, therefore it solely focuses on the nature of reality. Subduing pride is for subduing afflictions as appropriate. The three samadhis with and without conceptualization, etc., are as stated in the sutra. Recollecting the Buddha, etc.

The ten are as stated in the sutra. Concentration and the formless are taught as the practice of entering. The immeasurable is also like the immeasurable of the practice of entering. The eight liberations are: "Seeing forms, this is the first liberation." "Without internal form, perceiving, seeing external forms is the second liberation." "The perception of beauty is the third liberation." These three are pure because they become the antidote to the obscuration of transformation. Among them, the first two are impure. The third is pure. Some yogis, practicing in desire, as an antidote to attachment to colors, etc., abide in meditative absorption focusing on internal sounds, etc., and then focus on external blues, etc. They abide in the first dhyana. To counteract attachment to colors, etc., in the first dhyana, it is taught to abide in the second dhyana, which is called "seeing forms." Because it focuses on internal form, it is called "form." Because it focuses on external form, it is called "seeing form." Yogis, not focusing internally, but only focusing on external objects, etc., also abide in the first or second dhyana as before. That is called "without internal form, perceiving, seeing external forms." Similarly, practicing the contemplation of ugliness, to gladden a depressed mind, or, if one thinks of pleasant forms as impure, to awaken whether attachment to colors, etc., arises, focusing on pleasant forms. Abiding in the fourth dhyana is said to become the perception of beauty. These are the three liberations of form. There are five formless liberations, from the liberation of the sphere of infinite space to the liberation called the cessation of perception and feeling. Among them, the purity of the four formless states, such as the sphere of infinite space, is liberation because it is the antidote to the obscuration of tasting its flavor.
