Now, let's explain that, in terms of the nature of the completely imputed, everything is non-existent. Because of that non-existence, there is neither abiding nor ceasing, meaning it is impermanent and not non-impermanent. Therefore, it is empty by that. As for what is called emptiness of inner and outer, inner means empty later, because there is no object. Outer means empty by the inner, because they are not the objects of those. What is called emptiness of emptiness is that each or the aggregate of all phenomena is emptiness, and being empty by that itself is emptiness of emptiness. What is called great emptiness is the emptiness of the directions, because it pervades the ten directions. What is called birth and destruction, as well as abiding and alteration, are the characteristics of conditioned phenomena, the characteristics of extreme arising and cessation, the meaning of momentary and entering, as well as continuous entering, and the continuous dissimilarity of the former and the latter. The opposite of that is the characteristic of unconditioned phenomena. The emptiness of those two is, in order, the emptiness of conditioned phenomena and the emptiness of unconditioned phenomena. Because it is without limit, it is beyond limit, the enjoyment body. Its emptiness is the emptiness beyond limit, because there is no limit of beginning and end, so there is no beginning and end, which is samsara. That emptiness is the emptiness without beginning and end. Non-abandonment means it is not to be abandoned, which is the Great Vehicle. Its emptiness is the emptiness of non-abandonment. Because it is not made by the Tathagata and others, it is self-nature, the self-nature of phenomena, and its emptiness. Because the three times are mutually unattainable, it is unattainable, and its emptiness. The nature arising from conditioned phenomena is neither non-thing nor self-nature, so it is the self-nature of non-thing. How can the nature arising from combination be non-existent? Even if there is proximate grasping, it is non-existent if there is nothing else. Precisely because of this, it is said that the phenomena of aggregation and so on are non-things, because they are dependently originated. That emptiness is the emptiness of the self-nature of non-thing. Because of arising, it is a thing. That is its master.

Emptiness, as you say, is the emptiness of things themselves. Because there is no birth, things do not exist. The emptiness of things by their own nature is the emptiness of the non-existence of things. The non-inverted nature of all dharmas is their own nature, because it is not made by wisdom and views. That is the emptiness of its own nature. This is both supreme and other, and because it is the nature that is not made by others, it is also nature, therefore that is the nature of other, which is suchness. That is the emptiness of its own nature, that is the collection of wisdom. Among them, from the so-called "courageous conduct" and so on, to "like the sky, there is no accumulation, therefore liberated and without defilement," these samadhis are the non-discrimination, without outflows, and the nature of the mind that transcends the world of all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. When acting separately by the power of previous attention, various names are spoken. That which is associated with this is the collection of merit. The collection of paths should be explained, the aspects of enlightenment and so on are the path. Among them, that by which one truly knows is mindfulness. Those mindfulnesses are divided into four by the difference of objects: mindfulness of the body, mindfulness of feelings, mindfulness of mind, and mindfulness of dharmas. Among them, on the inner body, abiding by observing the body, in a non-abiding manner, one does not discriminate with the conceptual thought associated with the body. On the outer body, observing the body is also the same. On the inner and outer body, observing the body is also the same. On the inner and outer, and inner and outer feelings, mind, and dharmas, from observing feelings to observing dharmas, in a non-abiding manner, observing dharmas, and being conscientious, mindful, thereby eliminating worldly attachment and displeasure, even if observing, one does not discriminate with the conceptual thought associated with the Dharma. Among them, the inner body is one's own six senses, such as the eyes. The outer body is the created things outside of one's own body. The inner and outer body is one's own.
