From "earth" to "will exist there," it is the conceptualization of failing to walk as one wishes. That is the first of the conceptualizations of clinging, with nine aspects. What are the nine aspects of the second conceptualization of clinging? "Without intentional determination, there is no determined clinging to the path and non-path, birth with cessation, having and not having things, place and lineage are clinging, seeking meaning and without cause, in refutation and object, other are the conceptualizations of clinging." Thus it is said. Not focusing on clinging that exists nominally is the sixth here. If that does not exist, then things done intentionally will not necessarily arise as desired, and so on, leading to nine faults, which is the ninth conceptualization. These are not the qualities of individual ordinary beings, because they have the first one. If so, whose are they? They are the qualities of noble Hearers and Solitary Buddhas, because they have not abandoned them. As the Sutra says, the antidote to them is the sixth one, because the sixth one is the helmsman of the five, since it will definitely arise in the enlightenment of the Buddha. If there is no sixth one, it will definitely arise in inferior enlightenment. This is the conceptualization of not necessarily arising as desired, as the Blessed One said, "Subhuti, for example..." until "walks from equality." The path of knowing all aspects is the path of the Bodhisattva, and the path of the Hearers and so on is not their path. This is the definite grasping of the path and non-path. If there is no sixth one, there will be no such grasping. This is the conceptualization of not having definite clinging to the path and non-path, because a negative letter is added to the end of the previous sentence. "Asked, Blessed One," until "path and non-path." The Perfection of Wisdom is that no phenomena arise or cease, but if there is no sixth one, they will arise and cease. This is the conceptualization of arising and ceasing. "Asked, Blessed One," until "exerting in the six perfections.

This is what was said from "should do" to "between." How should one strive in those? It is said that from form to all-knowingness, it is neither associated nor unassociated. If there is no sixth, then that is not, which is the distinction between association and non-association. What the Blessed One said, from "Please ask, Blessed One" to "should strive." From form to all-knowingness, not abiding therein, this is striving. If there is no sixth, then one will abide in those, which is the distinction of abiding. What the Blessed One said, from "Subhuti, furthermore" to "attain complete enlightenment." Lineage is the seed, here, for all-knowingness, it is the six perfections, and if there is no sixth, then that will be destroyed, which is the distinction of the destruction of lineage. What the Blessed One said, from "Subhuti, for example" to "completely liberated from samsara." For the sake of not relying on others, one should train in the six perfections. If there is no sixth, then the sought-after meaning will not be accomplished, which is the distinction of no sought-after meaning. What the Blessed One said, from "Subhuti, thus" to "say." All phenomena arise from the Perfection of Wisdom, therefore if there is the Perfection of Wisdom, then all-knowingness will be attained, but not if separated from the sixth, which is the distinction of no cause. Why is that? What the Blessed One said, from "Why is that?" to "should train in all-knowingness." If one practices the sixth, then it is difficult to be overcome by demons and so on, and the Tathagatas of the three times also contemplate, because all phenomena are unobservable. If there is no sixth, then both of those are not, which is the distinction for outsiders and objects of focus. What the Blessed One said, from "Subhuti, for example" to "do not contemplate." This is the distinction of clinging, which is the nine distinctions of the second chapter.

Thus, having shown the thirty-six kinds of conceptualizations to be abandoned by seeing, and the path of seeing as their antidote. The benefit of the path of seeing itself, from "Then, the lord of the gods" to "will become a Buddha" has been spoken. However, enlightenment is not attained immediately by the path of seeing, because there is an interval of nine grounds. Even if there is such an interval, if someone thinks that it is not possible to realize the certainty of attaining enlightenment, then here are three reasons to show that it is only possible: "To others show enlightenment, its cause is complete entrustment, the cause of obtaining it without interruption, is the characteristic of many merits." As it is said, being free from obstacles, and because there is no obstacle here, it is uninterrupted, meaning that if there is not, it will not arise. If enlightenment cannot be obtained, then what will become non-existent? That is the uninterrupted cause of obtaining enlightenment, which is to realize it. There are also three ways. The first of these is to show enlightenment to others, that is, to prophesy. The other refers to the sixty hundred thousand monks who are abiding on the path of seeing. From "Then, from that retinue" to "should practice the Prajnaparamita" has been spoken. Its cause refers to entrusting the cause of enlightenment to meaningful places for the Bodhisattvas who appear now and in the future, that is, entrusting the Prajnaparamita to the Venerable Ananda, who is the holder of the teachings, this is the second reason. What is said from "Ananda, son of good family or" to "will be completely liberated from suffering." The characteristic of many merits through diligent practice of the Prajnaparamita is the third reason. What is said from "Ananda, if you" to "for the Prajnaparamita is immeasurable." Alternatively, the path of seeing is what immediately generates the attainment of enlightenment, because of what reason? "The wisdom of the exhaustion of defilements and non-arising, is called enlightenment, because of exhaustion and non-arising, these should be known in order." As it is said, defilement refers to afflictions.
