Just as one does not think of that, so too is the Perfection of Wisdom. Just as the emanation of the Tathagata, though performing its own actions, does not discriminate, so too does the Bodhisattva cultivate the Perfection of Wisdom, yet does not discriminate. Just as the emanation, though accomplishing the result of that action, does not discriminate, so too, by cultivating the Perfection of Wisdom, even if it exhausts discrimination, it does not discriminate, which is the side of the antidote. This is the first apprehension of the apprehended, together with the antidote, showing nine aspects. What are the nine aspects of the second apprehension of the apprehended? Because of falling into existence and peace, And the nature of inferior discrimination, And the absence of complete grasping, And the incompleteness of the aspect of accomplishment, And moving by the cause of others, And the perverted purpose of action, And the limited and the diverse, And being confused about the place and entry, And following after, These nine discriminations, Are the nature of the side of reversal, Arising from the minds of the Hearers and others. It is said. Inferiority is indeed a weakening. The nine aspects of the nature of the faults of inferior discrimination and so forth, which the Bodhisattva should abandon, are the support of the side of reversal. Because of striving for the meaning of existence and peace, and not having abandoned it, it arises from the minds of the Hearers and others. Because grasping does not appear in what exists as a substance, it is not cyclic existence. Because the five perfections are not Nirvana, what should the sixth do? This is a challenge. It is answered by the sixth, which eliminates discrimination. Even if the five perfections are present, if the sixth is absent, it will become inferior enlightenment and so forth, which is the discrimination of inferior enlightenment and so forth. The antidote to these is only the sixth non-discrimination, whose benefits are first spoken from the time of the venerable Subhuti, until the words "How wonderful!" The two sentences from "Then, like this," are the discrimination of inferior enlightenment. The eight sentences from "Then, like this," are the eight discriminations.
