The Buddha's teachings And the self-arisen teachings, and the unseizable teachings, complete and unsurpassed, that which does not abandon the benefit of sentient beings, that is called steadfast. How is it that it is not abandoned? After crossing over oneself, one helps those who have not crossed over to cross over. After liberating oneself, one liberates those who are not liberated. After exhaling oneself, one helps those who have not exhaled to exhale. After completely passing into nirvana oneself, one helps those who have not completely passed into nirvana to pass into nirvana. From then on, the prayers of Indra, and so on, until all that is said in between completely passing into nirvana. Having thus shown steadfastness, the mind abides in all things. What was previously shown is also only samadhi, therefore, by the power of samadhi, using the four continents and thousands as units, two thousands, three thousands as examples, with many merits, samadhi is fully proclaimed. Thus it is said, from the four continents to the three thousand worlds, as a measure, and similarly, the oceans of one thousand, two thousand, and three thousand, taking a drop of water with the tip of a hair split into a hundred parts, can be used as a measure. Here, from the bodhisattva who has newly entered the Mahayana to the bodhisattva who is one lifetime away from Buddhahood, rejoicing in all the roots of virtue of the bodhisattvas, and the accumulation of merit of rejoicing in that rejoicing is not. Therefore, without the attachment to duality and without the attachment to non-duality, dedicating those accumulations of merit to unsurpassed perfect enlightenment, therefore, in that way, the samadhi that focuses on the accumulation of merit is the way of dedicating to unsurpassed perfect enlightenment. The disappearance of the attachment to duality and non-duality, and the mind no longer engages in other minds and objects, the mind is the nature of abiding in its own nature, therefore it is samadhi. Bhagavan, thus and so on, until all that is said in between dedicating to enlightenment. That is the explanation of the abiding of the mind. Seeing, called and

Yogis say that the paths of action are different, and the four antidotes to the four kinds of conceptualization, etc., as mentioned above. Therefore, in this regard, entering and returning, the apprehended conceptualizations each, ninefold nature as the real object, non-object nature is, thus it is said. Among them, there are two kinds of apprehended conceptualizations, namely, conceptualizing the apprehended. How does one conceptualize the apprehended? Because they are directed towards objects that are not as they are, recognizing them in a reversed manner, they fall under the category of conceptualization. What are their objects? They are the aspects of entering and the aspects of returning. The meaning of 'each' is that both aspects possess a ninefold nature, that is, there are nine different distinctions. Sentient beings, substantially existent and nominally existent, are considered to be the objects of conceptual grasping. The distinction between ordinary beings and noble ones, each of those possesses a ninefold nature. Another is the conceptualization of grasping, there are two kinds. How are there two kinds? In order, conceptualizing sentient beings that are substantially existent and nominally existent. Among them, the first is that of ordinary beings, the second is that of noble ones, and those also each possess a ninefold nature. How are those conceptualizations of grasping? Because they conceptualize the absence of grasping itself, because they conceptualize what does not exist, therefore it is conceptualization. That is: If the apprehended meaning is not as such, by what do those think they grasp? Thus, those that grasp, their essence is the characteristic of emptiness. Thus it is said, the essence of grasping refers to the essence of grasping, that is, the nature of sentient beings. Those refer to the conceptualizations of grasping. What a Bodhisattva should accept is the aspect of entering, and what should be abandoned is the aspect of returning. For those, relying on the aspect of entering, the first conceptualization of the apprehended, is spoken of from the irreversible ones onwards, up to the upper part of the antidote side. The antidote is the Prajnaparamita that does not transform into the notion of two and does not transform into the notion of non-duality. Returning
