The statement "the body will not become heavy" and so on, refers to the lightness of body and mind. Both of these are the forbearance of knowledge of dharma regarding origination. What is stated from "What, Subhuti, furthermore" and so on, up to "should be known as irreversible" is the fifth sign of that. The statement "skillful in enjoying desires" refers to a householder bodhisattva who, in order to fully ripen sentient beings, skillfully relies on desires. This is knowledge of dharma regarding origination. What is stated from "What, Subhuti, furthermore" and so on, up to "should be known as irreversible" is the sixth sign of those very things. The statement "always practicing celibacy" refers to a householder bodhisattva who gives away the Jambudvipa and so on, filled with the seven precious things, and always practices celibacy, Vajrapani always follows behind. This is the forbearance of subsequent knowledge regarding origination. What is stated from "What, Subhuti, furthermore" and so on, up to the second "should be known as irreversible" is the seventh sign of that. The statement "purity of livelihood" is subsequent knowledge regarding origination. What is stated from "What, Subhuti, furthermore" and so on, up to "should be known as irreversible" is the eighth sign of that. Regarding "aggregates etc." and so on, combination refers to shamatha and subsequent combination, which is vipashyana. In combination and subsequent combination, abiding is the object of the mind, which is completely stopping it. Regarding what? Not focusing on the aggregates etc. at first, refers to the abiding of the aggregates etc. in combination and subsequent combination, meaning like that and so on. Among these, separately stopping the abiding of the aggregates etc. in combination and subsequent combination is the proof of emptiness itself. Why is that? Because it is stated "What is the reason for that" and so on. This is the forbearance of knowledge of dharma regarding cessation. From "What, Subhuti, furthermore" and so on, up to "not seeing in accordance with right view" is the ninth sign of that. Obstructing birth

"Those" refers to the laws of the unfavorable side. Because they are in accordance with thieves and are the object of speech, whatever is declared as the speech of thieves is knowing the Dharma in cessation. That is, from "that speech of thieves" etc., to what is said between "truly no longer seen," is the tenth sign for that. "Assembly" refers to the word for an army, it is the assembly of the assisting side. That is the forbearance of subsequent knowledge of cessation. That is, from "that speech of the army" etc., to what is said between "truly no longer seen," is the eleventh sign for those very ones. In "battle with power etc.," battle refers to the battle between the favorable side and the assisting side. If there is battle, then cessation will be attained. The consciousnesses that appear as body, place, and enjoyment, their extreme cessation is cessation. Among them, the body is the city of the senses, therefore it is declared with the word "city." The support of the body is the place, therefore it is declared with the word "city." Enjoyment is the collection of objects, and it is also declared with the word "town," because the senses must necessarily experience them. That cessation is also the attainment of selflessness etc., because those are extremely non-existent. Therefore, battle and the words of city, city, and town etc., for the combination of those words and the places of subsequent combination are individually prevented, and it is only the speech of the Prajnaparamita, and the place of accomplishing the mindfulness of all-knowingness. That is subsequent knowledge of cessation, that is, from "that speech of battle" etc., to what is said between "remaining without separation from mindfulness," is the twelfth sign for those very ones. "Stinginess etc." refers to

What is said from "should be known as irreversible" is the thirteenth sign. Dharma is not perceived even as a speck of dust, it is certain in its own place. Even though the Dharma is not perceived even as a speck of dust, I will undoubtedly become perfectly enlightened, these two are knowing the Dharma on the path. What is said from "Subhuti, again" etc., to "cannot truly see" is the fourteenth sign. Abiding in the three grounds etc., all dharmas are unborn, perfect enlightenment is to be attained, the Great Vehicle is what the Tathagata said, the three places are called three. Abiding in that, even the demons cannot certainly destroy, that is forbearance of subsequent knowledge of cessation. What is said from "Subhuti, for example" etc., to "Subhuti, again, should be known as irreversible" is the fifteenth sign. Giving up life for the sake of the Dharma, all dharmas are emptiness, this is Dharma, giving up life for its sake, this is subsequent knowledge on the path. What is said from "Subhuti, again" to "manifestly accomplish individual correct wisdom" is the sixteenth sign. Such sixteen moments, the wise abide in the path of seeing, are the signs of irreversibility. This is the conclusion. Making the power of abiding in the path of meditation, the path of meditation is profound. Thus it is said, in the sutra the path of meditation is spoken of with profound words, many words are repetitive speech. Abiding in what, then all dharmas are perfected. Subhuti asks, what is said from asking for good explanation to the end. What is its profundity? Profound emptiness etc., thus it is said. What the Blessed One said, what is said from profound to profound. What is the profundity of emptiness etc.? Profound
