Called "Tshol dang," it means that whatever Dharma is heard from others, such as "There is no Buddha," is all understood in its Dharmata through wisdom. However, how is it reasonable that demons show the deeds of hell to those who are pure and irreversible? It is because they seek hell for the sake of the world. Going to hell is their sixteenth sign. "Gzhan gyis bkri bar mi btub pa dang," is their seventeenth sign. "Lam gzhan nye bar ston bdud la, bdud ces bya bar rtogs pa dang," means that other and path are other paths. In relation to the path, other itself is close due to the occasion, which is the meaning of not being the path and being the path. Because of the connection with demons, saying that the path itself is the demon that is not the path is the eleventh sign. Saying that what is not the path is the path, and knowing that it is the demon, is the second sign. The first of these is "Whatever skillful means, other," etc., and from the poet's own creation to the end of "should be known," is their eighteenth sign. The second is "Skillful means, other," etc., and from "Eliminate suffering" to the end of "If you think that is not the place," is their nineteenth sign. "Sangs rgyas dgyes pa'i spyod pa ste," is their twentieth sign. "Rtags ni nyi shu de dag gis," etc., concludes with verses. The bodhisattva who abides in accordance with the aspects of ascertainment, symbolized by those twenty signs, is irreversible from perfect and complete enlightenment, which is the meaning of irreversible. Taking the state of abiding on the path of seeing as the basis, "Mthong ba'i lam la bzod pa dang, shes pa'i skad cig bcu drug ni, byang chub sems dpa' mi ldog pa'i, mtshan nyid yin par shes par bya." It is said that one should know that the bodhisattva abiding on the path of seeing is a sign of irreversibility. How many moments are there of forbearance and knowledge? The moment of forbearance...

The meaning of the sixteen moments I know. What are the sixteen? The reversal of perceptions such as form, the steadfastness of mind, liberation from inferior cords, complete exhaustion of limbs such as inverted meditation, lightness of body and mind, skillful means of enjoying desires, constant celibacy, complete purity of life, obstacles caused by aggregates, etc., and those associated with factions and powers, etc., warfare, miserliness, etc., giving and following giving, abiding in separate prohibitions, not fixating on even a particle of dharma, being in one's own place with it, and abiding in the three realms, sacrificing one's life for the sake of dharma. Such sixteen moments are signs of non-retrogression for the wise who abide on the path of seeing. The phrase "reversal of perceptions such as form" means the reversal of perceptions from form, etc., up to the Buddha, which is the forbearance of knowing the dharma in suffering. As it is said, from "as it is said" up to "should be known as non-retrogressing," what is said is the first sign of the path of seeing. The phrase "steadfastness of mind" means that the inability to be disturbed by demons, etc., is knowing the dharma in suffering. As it is said in the Prajñā Sūtra, from "What, Subhuti, again" to "will enter without fault," what is said is its sign, the second. Liberation from inferior cords is the acceptance of knowing in accordance with suffering. As it is said from "From there, venerable Subhuti" to "cannot be reversed from perfect enlightenment," what is said is its sign, the third. The phrase "complete exhaustion of limbs such as meditation" means that the limbs of meditation and the formless, etc., are the body. Its complete exhaustion is purity, and the weakness of the power to obtain detachment, etc., is knowing in accordance with suffering. As it is said in the Prajñā Sūtra, from "What, Subhuti, again" to "should be known as non-retrogressing," what is said is the fourth sign. The phrase "lightness of body and mind" means that actions with mindfulness and awareness are lightness of body,
