Because it does not exist as its own nature. In this way, those like rhinoceros horns have not abandoned the conceptualization of grasping. From then on, when this is taught, those who seek meaning and those who do not seek meaning are as they are in their situation. To the venerable Subhuti, and those six venerable ones, and the sons of the gods who were asked by hundreds of thousands of billions. Who seeks meaning? It is desire. Profound because it is difficult to realize. Difficult to measure because each one knows for himself. Not the object of thought because it transcends the path of thought. Subtle because all the proliferation of conceptualization is pacified. Wise because understanding all dharmas as they are is the cause of wisdom. Difficult to see because it is not the object of the five aggregates of consciousness. Difficult to realize because it is not the object of the consciousness of mind. Peaceful because all afflictions are pacified. Wonderful because all suffering is pacified. The most excellent of all dharmas is the most excellent. It should be known by the wise and the intelligent because it should be known by the non-retreaters and others. For those of the rhinoceros horn lineage, the answer to the refutation and including the rebuttal of seeking the meaning of words is: From then on, the venerable Subhuti said to those sons of the gods, until the Blessed One said to Indra. From then on, the Blessed One said to Indra, etc., saying that the rhinoceros horn lineage is also the limit of dharma. To say with the eye of dharma is to say with the eye of dharma. Like this, what is not born is a non-flower, similarly, what is not born of form is non-form, until what is not born of perfect enlightenment is non-perfect enlightenment, this is the rhinoceros horn lineage. Here, the author says: In order to realize the self-born nature, even if others instruct, it is not necessary, the wisdom like a rhinoceros horn, it is said to be profound. It has been said like this. Others' instruction is instructed by others. No need for that and wisdom.

That which is called "profound," and the second is like a rhinoceros horn, called Pratyekabuddha. Why is it not needed? Because they are manifested and realized by their own nature. How does one like a rhinoceros horn benefit others? By mere intention. How does one hear from them? By merely wanting to hear. That is: Whatever person, in whatever matter, however hears that thing, in that, even without sound, meaning appears, that appears just as it is. Thus it is said. Then, how much is their noble path? Because the concept of what is grasped diminishes, and because attachment is not abandoned, by dependence, one should know that the path like a rhinoceros horn is truly gathered. Thus it is said. Without contradicting the imputed nature, the aspect of showing is warmth, becoming the peak, form and so on, distinguished by no decrease and so on, by inner emptiness and so on, forbearance because not grasping form and so on, the aspect of form and so on, of no birth and so on, is the best of Dharma. Here, because form and so on do not contradict the imputation, the aspect of showing the nature of form and so on is warmth. The aspect of no increase and decrease of form and so on is the peak. The aspect of preventing the grasping of all phenomena by the sixteen, such as inner emptiness, is forbearance. The ten aspects of form and so on, each without birth and so on, without cessation and so on, are the best of Dharma. The Sutra is below the lineage of those like rhinoceros horns. Then, the Blessed One said to Indra, the lord of the gods, from "Those who study all-knowingness, cannot make it twofold, but study the countless and immeasurable Buddha Dharma" is the stage of warmth. From "One does not study for the sake of increasing and decreasing form" to "One does not study for the sake of completely grasping and eliminating form" is the stage of the peak. Starting from "Why is that?" to "All-knowingness arises in the manner of not grasping all phenomena" is the stage of forbearance. After that, from the manner of "not studying, not arising" to is the stage of the best of Dharma. This is the teaching of the path of the Pratyekabuddha.
