The collection of constancy, the collection of wisdom, the collection of tranquility, the collection of insight, the collection of the path of union, the collection of skillful means, the collection of wisdom, the collection of merit, the collection of the path, the collection of dharanis, the collection of grounds, and the collection of antidotes. Among these, the collection of compassion is that which liberates extremely many sentient beings from the evil realms, causing them to attain the objects of gods and humans, etc. This is the collection of compassion, as it is in the sutra. The collection of the six perfections, such as generosity, is as it is in the sutra. To thoroughly establish all sentient beings of myself or the ten directions in those six perfections is tranquility; this is the collection of tranquility. To thoroughly establish all immeasurable sentient beings in the fruit of that path is another collection of tranquility. Although immeasurable sentient beings are established from the perfections to the omniscient wisdom, none are established, because it is like an illusion, and because all are empty of their own nature, and because all dharmas are unmade, unformed, and not manifestly assembled. The unformed are increase and decrease. The manifestly assembled are by the distinctions of qualities. That is the collection of insight. Tranquility and insight are a union. Because it is related to this, it is the path of union. Related and bound is truly existent. Liberation is non-existent. Because of non-existence, solitude, and peace, both are invisible, therefore all dharmas are neither bound nor liberated. That is the collection of the path of union. What is the Great Vehicle? To what extent can it be known to have truly entered? From where does it arise? Where will it abide? Who will it bring forth? These five questions were asked by Subhuti. The Blessed One said: The six perfections are the Great Vehicle. This is also as it is in the sutra, that is the collection of skillful means. The twenty emptinesses spoken of in this sutra are the collection of wisdom. The establishment and explanation of this are also in the sutra itself. Next, to explain what is unclear.

That is to say, with the nature of complete imputation, everything is non-existent. Because of non-existence, there is neither abiding nor destruction. It means there is neither permanence nor impermanence. Therefore, it is emptiness. As for the so-called inner and outer emptiness, the inner is empty of others, because there is no object. The outer is empty of the inner, because it is not the object of those. The so-called emptiness of emptiness is the emptiness of all dharmas, individually or collectively. Being empty by itself is the emptiness of emptiness. Great emptiness is the emptiness of directions. Because it pervades the ten directions. The so-called birth and death, as well as abiding and alteration, are the characteristics of conditioned phenomena. It means the characteristics of extreme birth and cessation, momentary movement and constant movement, as well as the meaning of before and after, and the continuous sequence of before and after being different. The opposite of this is the characteristic of unconditioned phenomena. The emptiness of these two is, in order, the emptiness of conditioned phenomena and the emptiness of unconditioned phenomena. Because it is boundless, it transcends the limits, which is the Sambhogakaya. Its emptiness is the emptiness of transcending the limits, because there is no beginning and end, there is no beginning and end, which is samsara. Its emptiness is the emptiness of no beginning and end. What cannot be abandoned is what should not be abandoned, which is the Mahayana. Its emptiness is the emptiness of what cannot be abandoned. Because it is not made by the Tathagatas, etc., it is self-nature, which is the dharmata of the self-nature of all dharmas, and it is its emptiness. Because the three times are mutually unattainable, it is unattainable, and it is its emptiness. The self-nature arising from conditioned phenomena is neither non-thing nor self-nature, therefore it is the self-nature of non-thing. How can the self-nature arising from combination be non-existent? Although there is close grasping, it is non-existent if there is nothing else. Therefore, the non-thing of dharmas such as aggregates is because of dependent origination, as it is said. Its emptiness is the emptiness of the self-nature of non-thing. Because of birth, it is a thing. That with its own nature.
