It is said by "manifest attachment" and so on. The conceptualization of manifest attachment to the two extremes, that is, those who are manifestly attached to the dharmas, etc., to "counted among them," etc., is said. The conceptualization of all afflictions and not being completely purified, that is, those causes and conditions of ignorance and craving, etc., to "definitely not arising from the dharmas," etc., is said. The conceptualization of not abiding on the noble path, that is, those who do not believe, etc., to "omniscient," etc., is said. The conceptualization of the object is also asked by Shariputra: "How," etc., to "in a non-objective way," etc., is said. The conceptualization of self, etc., that is, Shariputra asked: "By what," etc., to "should take the extremely pure," etc., is said. As an antidote to the conceptualization of birth, etc., that is, "unborn," etc., to "pure," etc., is said. That is the conceptualization of the object, the first has nine kinds.

Thus, the ten powers and so forth are spoken of. These are the nine kinds of apprehended conceptualizations. Self and so forth, self-nature and independence, Likewise, aggregates and so forth, through the door of dependence, The grasper of substance and imputation's basis, Is also asserted as twofold. The grasper is called the conceptualization of grasping. This is also asserted as twofold. How so? Because self, independence, and so forth, rely on substance in their nature, and relying on aggregates and so forth, rely on imputation. These should be applied to forbearance and the supreme dharma in order. The meaning of "likewise" is that just as the apprehended conceptualizations are individually ninefold, so too are the grasping conceptualizations likewise. Among these, the antidote to the conceptualization of self, self-nature, and independence is: "Shariputra, I do not see self as near," and so forth. The antidote to the conceptualization of self as singular is: "Shariputra, form," and so forth. Then, the antidote to the conceptualization of self as permanent is: "Shariputra, eye," and so forth. Then, the antidote to the conceptualization of self as a seer and so forth is: "Shariputra, eye and form, and eye consciousness," and so forth. Then, the antidote to the conceptualization of self as the basis of complete affliction is: "Shariputra, dependent origination," and so forth. Then, the antidote to the conceptualization of self as the basis of detachment is: "The first dhyana," and so forth. Then, the antidote to the conceptualization of self as the basis of the path of seeing is: "The noble truths," and so forth. Then, the antidote to the conceptualization of self as the basis of the path of meditation is: "The eight liberations," and so forth. Then, the antidote to the conceptualization of self as the basis of ultimate reality is: "The ten powers," and so forth. These are the first nine grasping conceptualizations. Because of the nature of illusion, it is imputation. Among these, the conceptualization of imputation at the beginning is spoken of in between "Bhagavan, it is not so," and so forth.

Then, regarding the conceptualization of attachment to the sense bases, the Blessed One spoke up to "It is not so." Then, regarding the conceptualization of attachment to the elements, the Blessed One spoke up to "Illusion itself is the element of consciousness." Then, regarding the conceptualization of attachment to dependent origination, the Blessed One spoke up to "Illusion itself is old age and death." Then, regarding the conceptualization of attachment to purification, the Blessed One spoke up to "It is not so, Blessed One." Then, regarding the conceptualization of attachment to the path of seeing, the Blessed One spoke up to "It is not so, Blessed One." Then, regarding the conceptualization of attachment to the path of meditation, the Blessed One spoke up to "It is not so, Blessed One." Then, regarding the conceptualization of attachment to the path of distinction, the Blessed One spoke up to "It is not so, Blessed One." Then, regarding the conceptualization of attachment to the path of no more learning, the Blessed One spoke up to "One will attain omniscience." This is the second set of nine grasping conceptualizations. Having explained the connection between conceptualization and correctness, in terms of correctly and completely grasping: The very nature of non-fear of mind, etc., shows selflessness, etc., abandoning its unfavorable aspects, is complete grasping in every way. Among them, fear itself has small, medium, and large gradations, such as fear, panic, and extreme panic. As its antidote, there is non-fear, correct non-fear, and not becoming correct non-fear. Because in the same way, it transforms from non-fear of mind, etc., therefore it is called the meaning of skillful means. Selflessness means that all phenomena are selfless. The word "etc." refers to contemplating omniscience and dedicating, etc. Showing it means explaining it, which is the meaning of a virtuous friend. Its unfavorable aspects are unskillful means and evil friends. Abandoning its unfavorable aspects means completely abandoning. These four are in every way, that is, in all aspects. That is correctly and completely.
