I, small, medium, and large are superior, called superior because they become superior. From what are they superior? From the Shravaka assembly and Pratyekabuddhas, meaning the activities of the Shravakas, etc. From what reason? It is said with the object and aspect, etc. Object and aspect and becoming the cause of obtaining the three vehicles, and being skilled in means, and being completely taken by a virtuous friend, and how to possess the four discriminations, from elaborating on these, combine them in order. In the sutras, it is said differently from this. Therefore, it should be explained according to the order of the sutras, not in order. Among them, the definitive part related to the Shravakas, etc., corresponds to focusing on the four truths, and each truth has four aspects, namely impermanence and suffering, etc., cause and origin, etc., cessation and peace, etc., path and reason, etc. The heat, peak, forbearance, and supreme dharma of the Bodhisattva, each of those positions also becomes twelve aspects with the distinction of small, medium, and large. Among them, the small heat is: the object is impermanence, etc., having the support of truth, its aspect is the cessation of manifest clinging, etc. It is said like this. Having the support of truth means the object of the four truths. Impermanence, etc., means focusing on impermanence, etc., as the sutra says. Its aspect means it is the same as focusing on it, for example, the cessation of manifest clinging, etc., means not being manifest clinging, not abiding, and not having consciousness. Among them, the one who clings to the self with a large proportion of the thing itself is manifest clinging. Medium is abiding. Small is consciousness. It is the cessation of those. Emptiness with those is the self-nature of wisdom, for example, the nature of the direction empty of the pot is that there is no pot in the direction. Among them, the first is said from craving for the Dharma to becoming a fault. That is the small heat of the suffering truth.

These are the aspects and forms. From "they are not seen" to "between" is about the small heat aspect of the truth of the origin of suffering, the object of focus is the basis of what is to be abandoned, such as form, etc., and the form is the negation of manifest clinging, etc., arising from it. From "such cessation" to "cannot truly know" is about the direct perception, etc., of the basis of the truth of cessation, etc., and the form is as before. Among them, what is without fault is that emptiness is the object of focus for the external and other bases, and not truly seeing emptiness as it is for the internal and other bases is the form, and this is without fault. This is the small heat aspect and form of the truth of cessation. From "that" to "should be known" is about the truth of the path. Among them, knowing the basis of form, etc., itself is the object of focus, and not thinking in that way is the form. Similarly, no-mind is the clear light of its own nature. From where does the clear light come? Because this mind is neither associated with desire, etc., nor separated. What is its no-mind? That is, its own nature is the nature of reality, unchanging and without discrimination. How is non-mind no-mind? Similarly, form, etc., are also non-form, etc., therefore, the nature of the dependent of mind, etc., is the object of focus, and clear light is the form. This is the small heat aspect and form of the truth of the path. The so-called cause of attaining all three vehicles, the twelve aspects of the bodhisattva's heat, etc., are the three vehicles, which are the cause of attaining the three types of enlightenment. Because some people can also attain inferior enlightenment by the power of lineage, etc. The heat, etc., of the Hearer and Solitary Buddha vehicles can never attain supreme enlightenment. From "If one wishes to study in the Hearer's ground" to "should study" has been said. The middling one says: "Form, etc., arise, cease, abide, etc." Among them, "by name" is the remainder. "Non-abiding is separation," by name.

Furthermore, there is a remainder. Forms and so on should be widely known as stated in the sutra. Their arising is understood from others through names, that is, they do not exist. Destruction is indicated to others through names, that is, they do not exist, that is the object of intermediate warmth. The name does not exist in the place of indication, nor does it not exist; for the listener, there is no separation or transference, that is the aspect. And from where is that? Because the name does not exist. Therefore, it is also thought that those do not exist. What was said from "From there, venerable Subhuti" to "Whatever this, Blessed One." It is also said here that "existence is non-existent, non-existence is also non-existent." If the four aspects are shown here to be non-existent, then it will become irrelevant. In the treatise, not negating existence and separation is the main thing. That is the object and aspect of intermediate warmth. The great one is: "There is no place, designation, or expression." For "These are merely designations, such as Bodhisattva, as a term of Dharma" to "as a name of the Buddha's Dharma" is the object. "That cannot be expressed by any of the aggregates, elements, things, or non-things" is the aspect. From "Whatever this, Blessed One" and so on, to "well established in a non-abiding manner" is the object and aspect of great warmth. For example, when rubbing wood to produce fire, the preliminary sign of warmth appears, similarly, the fire of transcendental wisdom is also the same. Therefore, because warmth is in accordance with Dharma, it is warmth. The small peak is: "Forms and so on do not abide, their essence is without nature, their one nature is one." For "Forms and so on do not abide" means not abiding in forms and so on. Whatever forms and so on are, their essence, emptiness, that is the object. Whatever is the emptiness of forms and so on, that is not form, because the characteristics are different. This refers to whatever is the emptiness of forms and so on, that is not form. "Their one nature is one" refers to the mutual essence.
