Thereafter, the venerable Subhuti and others spoke, up to "one should cultivate the unmixed dharmas." The combination is, what the Blessed One said, etc., up to "not directly realizing the fruit of the solitary realizer." The enemies are the obstructing dharmas; the combination that subdues and transcends them with the four immeasurables is, Subhuti, for example, etc., up to what was said between "such abiding is also not directly realized." With what combination does one practice emptiness, etc., yet one does not abide there, like a bird in the sky. Subhuti, for example, etc., up to what was said between "one obtains." Not having fully ripened the Buddha's dharmas, one also does not directly realize the true limit; therefore, for the sake of the vast aspiration, not directly realizing that is called the conforming combination. Subhuti, for example, etc., up to what was said between "thus one should thoroughly examine." The uncommon combination of the Hearers, etc., is not abandoning all sentient beings. Petition, Blessed One, etc., up to what was said between "not directly realizing the true limit." Grasping at "I" and "mine" is attachment; for the sake of those sentient beings who practice that to abandon that, one should teach the Dharma after directly realizing enlightenment; this is the combination of non-attachment. Subhuti, furthermore, etc., up to what was said between "not like a solitary realizer." After I directly realize enlightenment, how should I liberate sentient beings from the fault of practicing with attachment to my Dharma; this is the combination of non-objectification. Subhuti, furthermore, etc., up to what was said between "will become completely perfect." After I directly realize enlightenment, how should sentient beings

From "Furthermore, Subhuti," and so on, to all that is said between "will be completely perfected." After I have attained complete enlightenment, I shall act in such a way that sentient beings are freed from the faults of engaging in aspirations; this is the practice without aspirations. From "Furthermore, Subhuti," and so on, to all that is said between "that is not the place." The word "that" is connected with non-retrogression, because it can indicate and make known non-retrogression, so it is the practice of the sign of that (non-retrogression). One should also pay attention to emptiness and so on, and one should not completely abandon all sentient beings; this passage is the answer to a question. From "Furthermore, Subhuti," and so on, to all that is said between "it is not pressing on thinned ground." The supplication: Blessed One. Here, the term Bodhisattva Mahasattva refers to the meaning of generating the mind of enlightenment. The question: Are there such categories that become irreversible? The answer: What the Blessed One said, and so on, to what cannot be stolen by the world is the answer. The answer to the question of the very many who generate the mind of enlightenment, of whom very few are non-retrogressing, should be understood as before. The practice of the very few of the very few is because those few themselves are immeasurable. It is like a daughter with a small belly is not without a belly. The commentary on the Ornament of Clear Realization, complete with explanations, composed by Ratnakara Shanti, Chapter Four, the chapter on the Clear Realization of All Aspects of Enlightenment. Chapter Five, Commentary on the Peak Clear Realization. Peak Clear Realization. Its signs and increase, as well as stability and all abiding of the mind, and so on, from these onwards, the previously stated objects are to be spoken of. Among these, first is the sign, and having made it the master, even in dreams, all phenomena, are seen as dreamlike, etc., are the signs of the practice having reached the peak, and are considered to be twelve aspects. Thus it is said that the signs of the peak clear realization are twelve aspects, and here

That is to say, even in dreams, all dharmas should be seen as dreamlike. The "etc." refers to not generating desires, as mentioned in the sutras, for things inferior to Bodhi and within the three realms in dreams. Each instance of the word "furthermore" refers to the first seven. Among them, seeing all dharmas as equal to dreams in a dream is the first sign. Not generating desires, etc., for things inferior to Bodhi and within the three realms in a dream is the second sign. Seeing the Tathagata in the midst of the retinue in a dream, hearing the Dharma he teaches, and practicing it, etc., is the third sign. In a dream, the Tathagata rises into the sky and teaches the Dharma, displays miracles and wonders, etc., is the fourth sign. In a dream, if one sees towns and cities being destroyed and burned, etc., one should not be afraid, and upon awakening, one should also know that the three realms are like a dream, etc., which is the fifth sign. In a dream, seeing pretas and hells, one thinks: How can I ensure that there are no three lower realms in my Buddha-field? I will begin to act now, which is the sixth sign. If, in a dream or while awake, one sees towns, etc., being burned, if I have been prophesied to attain unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment, then may this fire be extinguished, thus making a truthful blessing. If the fire is extinguished, etc., this is the seventh sign here. When men and women, non-humans, bless, the Bodhisattva should think: I have a mind with a superior intention for perfect and complete enlightenment. With the truth that I have no mind of a Hearer, etc., may this non-human leave from these men and women, thus making a truthful blessing. If it leaves through the truthful blessing, that is the sign here. Thereafter, due to the blessing of Mara, it leaves, but the pride of appearing to be prophesied even when not prophesied is a meaningless cause. At that time, its departure is
