For oneself is the eleventh sign. Worms do not arise on the body. That which is called this, for those themselves is the twelfth sign. That which is called having no deceitful mind, having no deceit in body, mind, and speech, that is the thirteenth sign for them. That which is called practice is acceptance, which is the complete acceptance of the merits of practice. The twelve merits of practice are: only holding a duster, only holding three Dharma robes, only holding felt, only holding alms, only holding one seat, not accepting food afterwards, only dwelling in solitude, only dwelling under a tree, only having no covering, only dwelling in a charnel ground, only holding a squatting posture, only dwelling in such a place, that which is called this, for them is the fourteenth sign. That which is called having no stinginess, etc., in this, the opposing aspects of the six perfections, the six stinginesses, etc., and jealousy, without those, that is, without stinginess, etc. That is the fifteenth sign for those themselves. Realizing the possession of Dharmata, seeking hell for the sake of sentient beings. In this, whatever Dharma is heard from others, such as that which is called there is no Buddha, etc., all of that is also understood by knowing Dharmata. However, how is it reasonable that the pure ones who do not turn back from the demon show the work of hell? Those also seek hell for the sake of the world. That which is called going to hell, that is the sixteenth sign for those themselves. Not being seduced by others, that which is called this, is the seventeenth sign for those themselves. To the demon who shows another path, understanding the name demon. In this, other and path is another path. Considering the path, the other is near because of the situation. The meaning of non-path and path. Because of the connection with the demon, the knowledge of the demon itself that speaks of the path itself as non-path is the eleventh sign. The knowledge of the demon itself that speaks of the non-path itself as the path itself is the second sign. Among them, the first, from where Subhuti again, etc., begins, until the end of what should be known as the poet's own creation, that is the eighteenth sign for those themselves. The second is Subhuti again

And from "completely eliminate suffering" etc., until what is said at the end of "that is not a place," that is the nineteenth sign itself. The practice that pleases the Buddha is the twentieth sign itself. Concluding with verses such as "The signs are those twenty," whatever is symbolized by the twenty signs of the Bodhisattva who abides in accordance with the aspects of ascertainment, that is non-regression from perfect complete enlightenment, which is the meaning of non-regression. Taking abiding in the path of seeing as a premise, it is said, "The patience and knowledge on the path of seeing are the characteristics of a non-regressing Bodhisattva, one should know." This means that one should recognize the signs of a Bodhisattva abiding on the path of seeing who does not regress. How many moments are there of patience and knowledge? It means that there are sixteen moments of patience and knowledge. What are the sixteen? "The reversal of perception of forms etc., the mind is stable, from inferior bonds, the complete cessation of the limbs of inverted meditation etc., lightness of body and mind, skillful means in the enjoyment of desires, constant pure conduct, pure livelihood, those who obstruct the aggregates etc., and those accompanied by retinues and powers etc., fighting miserliness etc., for union and conformity, individually preventing dwelling places, not perceiving even a mote of dust in phenomena, by itself in its own ground, and abiding in the three grounds, giving up life for the sake of the Dharma, such sixteen moments are the signs of non-regression for the wise who abide on the path of seeing." Among these, "the reversal of perception of forms etc." refers to the reversal of perception from forms etc. up to the Buddha, which is the patience of knowing the Dharma in suffering. From "Thus it was declared" up to "one should know as non-regressing," what is said is the first sign of the path of seeing. "The mind is stable" means that it is not disturbed by demons etc., which is suffering.
