There is no obstruction until the attainment of omniscience. From "endowed with life" to "no birth," the nature of unobstructedness is spoken of. "No basis, no going, no birth, etc.," where "that" refers to the Dharma being taught, which is no basis, no going, and no birth. Here, because form and so on have no support, there is no dwelling. From "What Dharma is this" to "no support," the nature of no basis is spoken of. Because there is no going in this, it is no going. Thus, the suchness of the Tathagata, no going, no coming, so too is Subhuti. From "acting in desire" to "utterance," the nature of no going is spoken of. Because there is no birth in this, it is no birth. Because there is no subsequent birth, no one who is subsequently born, and no one by whom one is subsequently born. From "abiding" to "unobservable," the nature of no birth is spoken of. "Suchness is unobservable," if form and so on are themselves unobservable, how could the suchness of form and so on become observable? From "endowed with life" to "falling into the ground of the solitary Buddha," the nature of the unobservability of suchness is spoken of. "Sixteen natures" means that the sixteen aspects just mentioned are the nature. This is the fourth characteristic, because it surpasses the three characteristics of doing and accomplishing. If asked, how do you consider this a characteristic? It is said, "Because it is shown in the basis of characteristics," because this is the basis of characteristics, possessing the nature of characteristics, and is what is to be shown, therefore it is the basis of characteristics. This is the showing of the characteristic of nature. Because the Dharma corresponding to the part of liberation is to be declared, therefore: "Giving without characteristics, etc., Those skilled in true accomplishment, In this understanding of all aspects, Are considered to correspond to the part of liberation. Faith arises with the Buddha, etc., as the object, Diligence arises with giving, etc., as the field of action, Perfect intention and mindfulness,"

|| Non-conceptual samadhi, in all aspects of dharmas, with the wisdom of knowing and the five, perfect enlightenment is easily realized by the sharp, difficult to realize by the dull. Thus it is said, the first verse is the characteristic, and the other verses are the detailed distinctions. Giving alms up to the state of omniscience, not taking this as a sign, whoever is wise in the assembly of truly accomplished ones, he is considered to be in accordance with the aspect of liberation in this context, which is the characteristic. The five aspects are only its five detailed distinctions: faith, diligence, mindfulness, samadhi, and wisdom. Among them, focusing on the Buddha and others is faith. From "Whoever is the son of Sharadvati" to "It should be known that one will not abide in the land of the self-Buddha," what is said is in accordance with the aspect of liberation of the characteristic of faith. Giving and so on, the realm of activity is diligence, etc., which is said for what reason, from "Why" to "skillful means," what is said is the nature of diligence. The perfection of intention is mindfulness, etc., which is said as a request, from "Bhagavan" to "There is no doubt about Bodhi," what is said is the nature of mindfulness. Non-conceptual samadhi, etc., non-conceptual is because of looking outward, for what reason, from "Why" to "practicing between all kinds of wisdom," what is said is the nature of samadhi. Dharmas in all aspects, the wisdom of knowing, is from "Then practicing when desiring pleasure" to "Because all dharmas are extremely pure," what is said is the nature of wisdom. Perfect enlightenment is easily realized by the sharp, which means easy to obtain, from "Then the venerable one" to "empty by the nature of all kinds of wisdom," what is said is in accordance with the aspect of liberation of the sharp. Difficult to realize by the dull, from "Then the venerable son of Sharadvati" to "Bodhisattva Mahasattva,"

Everything that was said up to "will arise." Here, "as it is" means "in the ultimate truth." Relying on the conventional truth, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva thus understands the suchness of all phenomena, etc., and attains unsurpassed perfect enlightenment and is certain to be liberated. When the meaning of these words is understood, being free from fear, etc., is in accordance with the sharp aspect of liberation. What is said about fear, etc., is dull, which is in accordance with the dull aspect of liberation. Having thus shown what is in accordance with the aspect of liberation, in order to proclaim what is in accordance with the aspect of ascertainment, it is said: "The object of warmth here, Is praised as all sentient beings, For them, equanimity of mind, Various aspects are taught as ten." Here, "here" refers to the manifestation of all aspects. The object of warmth is all sentient beings. The ten aspects are equanimity of mind, etc., towards all sentient beings, namely, equanimity of mind, loving-kindness, compassion, the mind that subdues pride, the unwavering mind, the mind of benefit, the mind without anger, the mind of non-harm, the mind like a mother, daughter, and sister, and the mind like a father, brother, and son. From "The venerable Subhuti asked" to "should be contemplated," is what is said about the stage of warmth. Turning oneself away from evil, abiding in generosity, etc., and others, placing them in those, praising them, and being in accordance with them, is the peak. The so-called peak is turning oneself away from the ten non-virtuous deeds, abiding in generosity, etc., and abiding in the equal placement of dependent origination, placing others who turn away and abide, praising them, and being in accordance with them, is the peak. From "Whether I" to "abiding in a non-objective way," is what is said about the peak. Thus, patience is, oneself and
