The tenth says: The first ground is obtained, because of the ten practices. What are those? Intention and beneficial things, Equanimity of mind towards sentient beings, Giving and relying on spiritual friends, Seeking to focus on the sacred Dharma, Always having a mind of renunciation, Joy in wanting to become a Buddha body, Teaching the Dharma and truthful, Speech is considered the tenth. It is said that intention is faith and desire. Beneficial things are the desire to benefit all sentient beings. The cause of that is equanimity of mind. Giving is the perfection of giving. Seeking is completely seeking, which is also a synonym for wanting to seek the Dharma by focusing on the sacred Dharma. Renunciation is renunciation from the state of home. Thinking of renunciation is wanting that. Joy is combined here with always. Truthful speech is speaking truthfully, which is ten. Since these natures are not objects, one should know that they are completely practiced. These are intention and so on. Shame and remorse done by discipline, extreme joy and great compassion, listening with reverence, the eighth is diligence in giving and so on. It is said that discipline is complete purity of discipline. Patience is the power of patience. Extreme joy is extreme joy. Great compassion is because one does not abandon all sentient beings. Respect is for those who are worthy of respect. Listening respectfully to the lama is to regard the virtuous friend as a teacher. Giving and so on are for the perfections and so on. Saying the eighth, the second complete practice is only eight. Never being satisfied with hearing, giving the Dharma without possessions, purifying all Buddha-fields, not being weary of samsara, having shame and embarrassment, the nature of being without pride, these five. It is said that hearing is much hearing. Complete purification is because that merit is completely dedicated. The nature of being without pride is because there is no self-satisfaction with this. Those five are the third complete

There are only five practices. Living in the forest, having few desires and being content, diligently upholding discipline, not abandoning learning, reviling all desires, being disgusted and abandoning all possessions, not being timid and having no dependence. Living in the forest means dwelling in a solitary place, because it is the fruit. Being content means being content with everything. Diligently upholding discipline means not abandoning it. Being disgusted and abandoning all possessions means generating disgust and completely abandoning all possessions. Not being timid and having no dependence means having no timidity in the mind and having no dependence on all things, being without timidity means being without fear. The ten, which will be mentioned below, can also be included here. Therefore, the practice of the fourth ground is only ten. Familiarity and attachment to family, being in a noisy place, praising oneself and disparaging others, the ten paths of non-virtuous actions, pride and conceit and perverted views, indecision and tolerating afflictions. If these ten are abandoned, the fifth ground will be truly attained. Familiarity with householders and renunciates, attachment to family, that is, attachment to the family that should be approached. Noisy means improper talk. Praise means to praise. Disparagement means to revile. The path of action is the basis of action. Pride means having a high mind. Conceit means not bowing to elders with the body. Perverted views means holding wrong views on meaning. Indecision means doubt. Tolerating afflictions means abiding in desire, anger, and ignorance. If these ten dharmas are completely abandoned, the fifth ground will be attained. Generosity, discipline, patience, diligence, meditation, and wisdom are all perfected. Abandoning the mind of joy and sorrow towards disciples and solitary realizers. Not being timid when begging, not being unhappy even when giving away all possessions, and not abandoning begging even when poor, the sixth ground will be truly attained. The perfections such as generosity are each completely perfected. Thus, there are six dharmas. Likewise, being happy with the Hearers, being happy with the Solitary Buddhas, and completely abandoning the mind of sorrow, thus there are three. Begging.
