Because there is no end to the last, there is no beginning and no end, which is samsara. That emptiness is the emptiness without beginning and without end. What cannot be abandoned is what should not be abandoned, which is the Mahayana. That emptiness is the emptiness that cannot be abandoned. Because it is not created by the Tathagata and others, it is self-nature, the Dharma-nature of the self-nature of all dharmas, and that is its emptiness. Because the three times do not observe each other, it is non-observation, and that is its emptiness. The nature arising from the combination is neither non-thing nor nature itself, so it is the nature of non-thing. How can the nature arising from combination be non-existent? Even if there is close taking and abandoning, if there is nothing else, there is nothing. Precisely because of this, the dharmas of combination and so on are non-things, because they are interdependent origination. So it is said. That emptiness is the emptiness of the nature of non-thing. Because of arising, it is a thing. That emptiness with its own nature is the emptiness of things. Because there is no arising, it is non-thing, and that emptiness with its own nature is the emptiness of non-thing. The non-perverted nature of all dharmas is one's own nature, because it is not created by wisdom and views, etc. That is its emptiness of self-nature. This is also supreme, so it is also other, and because it is not the nature created by others, it is also nature, so that is the nature of other, which is suchness. That is its emptiness of self-nature, which is the collection of wisdom. There, from the beginning of being called bravely walking, etc., to the samadhis, etc., which are liberated without attachment like the sky and without defilement, are the self-nature of the non-discriminating, uncontaminated, and transcendent mind of all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. When activities are carried out separately by the power of previous attention, various names are spoken. Having that is the collection of merit. The collection of paths is to be explained, the aspects of Bodhi, etc., are the path. There, what is correctly understood by? It is mindfulness, mindfulness.
