By abiding in that samadhi, not discriminating the three meanings, it becomes a supreme method. Therefore, regarding all truths, one should greatly understand that the characteristic of not perceiving the nature of the three dharmas with samadhi. Thus, since it is the most excellent of all worldly dharmas, it is called the most excellent of dharmas, and there are three kinds. Initially, as it should be, the object of focus, the characteristics of the differentiated dharma, and the way of speaking about the dharma should be so. Because when a differentiated one speaks about the dharma, it is always spoken, it is because of the construction of the sentence, and because there is no difference in meaning except for excluding or not excluding differences, only those that are related to the truth of suffering, which is contrary to attachment and so on, are the object of focus and action. Likewise, it should be combined with everything. How should one know that four kinds of discriminations arise? Therefore, the discriminations of what is to be grasped, which are spoken in the two intermediate verses, are: The basis and its antidote, the discriminations of what is to be grasped are of two kinds, ignorance and the distinctions of the aggregates, etc., these are each of nine kinds. Thus. The discriminations of what is to be grasped are of two kinds: the basis of all afflictions and the discriminations of what is to be purified. They are also of nine kinds, according to their number, because of the various distinctions of ignorance and the purified aggregates, etc. After that, the discriminations of what can be grasped are spoken: The basis of reality and imputation, the grasping is also said to be of two kinds, the nature of self-sovereignty, etc., and the dependence on the aggregates, etc., is also the same. Thus. Because the individual exists in reality and the individual exists in imputation as the object of focus, the discriminations of what can be grasped are also of two kinds. They are also of nine kinds each, because of the power of focusing on the self-sovereign and the freedom of focusing on the aggregates, etc. Among them, what are the nine bases of all afflictions? They are the nature of karma, ignorance of the truth of that, the aggregates of form, etc., by which the aggregates are completely accomplished on the other shore, attachment to the appearance of name and form, which holds to permanence and annihilation, and attachment to the appearance of those.
