Through the path of meditation, separately counteracting the two kinds of conceptualizations of grasping at the object of attachment, which are the source of all defilements and dangers, and the two kinds of conceptualizations of grasping at the self as real and the person as merely labeled, in sequence, relying on the power of things and phenomena, they become the antidote to abandoning the eight kinds of conceptualizations. Therefore, in order to perfectly accumulate the army of antidotes, the mind of renunciation will definitely arise, so the practice of renunciation, which is the nature of tireless diligence, is taught. As the verse says: For the sake of others and equality, benefiting sentient beings and without effort, transcending the limits is renunciation, obtaining the nature is renunciation, all-knowing is renunciation, the object of the path is renunciation, these eight natures, are called the practice of renunciation. Thus it is said. Such as great mind etc. for the benefit of others, all wisdom dharmas are equal like the sky, with compassion especially benefiting sentient beings, the union is without characteristics and everything is accomplished, spontaneously accomplished, that nature is free from the two extremes of permanence and annihilation, only from the Prajñāpāramitā itself obtaining all the meanings and benefits of the three vehicles, with the nature of non-discrimination being all-knowing, and those differentiated paths, with the mind of renunciation reaching the ultimate state. In order to definitely overcome the object to be abandoned, therefore, for the sake of the excellence of the fruit, there are eight kinds of practices of renunciation. The commentary on the Prajñāpāramitā Upadeśa treatise, the Abhisamayālaṅkāra, the Garland of the Lamp of Wisdom, the explanation of the first chapter is completed. Second chapter, the explanation of all path knowledge. The realization of all-knowingness depends on the knowledge of the path, so when explaining it, first the basis and the possession of the knowledge of the path are explained. In order to make the gods rejoice, shining with light, as well as the determination and pervasiveness of the object, the nature and its karma. Thus it is said. The Sutra says that the light of the Tathāgata's own nature shines on the ripened light of the gods and so on. That is to generate the knowledge of the path in them.

In order to be able to arise, therefore, it should be recognized that it only arises in the continuum of subduing pride, therefore, as a support, it is superior. Similarly, those who have generated the mind of enlightenment for the sake of omniscience are definite about their respective objects, and because all sentient beings possess the essence of the Tathagata, they are without desire, and other yogis and so on must ultimately practice it, therefore, it is a lineage that pervades all, and because they have vowed to benefit sentient beings as long as samsara exists, their cause is the nature of abandoning all kinds of afflictions, and they do not manifest the true extreme because of their skill in wisdom and means, and they are engaged in activities such as gathering sentient beings who have not yet been gathered. Such a path, to know, what are those paths? How should one know? Briefly explain the path of the Hearers. Regarding the nature of the path, one should understand this Hearer's path by not focusing on the aspects of the Four Noble Truths. That's how it is said. Among them, the truth of suffering is the four aspects of impermanence, which is the nature of arising and ceasing, suffering, which is incompatible with the noble ones because it is a contaminated phenomenon, selflessness, which is emptiness in the sense of an agent, and peace, which is the absence of reality in the nature of its essence. The origin of suffering is like a disease because it is the root cause of the arising of unpleasant feelings, and like a fruit, it is the accumulation of suffering because it produces the fruit of suffering, and like a thorn, it is a strong arising because it is the condition for the arising of unbearable feelings, and like a sin, it is the nature of arising from many fears and completely destroying them, which are the four aspects. Both suffering and origin, because of the harm caused by the rebuttal of externalists, are like enemies from other sides, and because of the fear and untrustworthiness caused by harm, they are the nature of destruction, that is, the two characteristics of aversion, and the nature of oneself cannot remain stable, so it is shaking, and it is completely destroyed because it is destroyed naturally without cause, that is, the two characteristics that should be free from desire.
