Not proclaiming sectarianism and self-praise, not clinging to all internal dharmas; abandoning slander of others, not clinging to all external dharmas; abandoning the ten non-virtuous paths of action, abiding in the ten virtues; not becoming arrogant with learning and discipline, etc., not following the dharma of increased arrogance; abandoning the reversed clinging to virtue and non-virtue, abandoning clinging to real things; abandoning all differences of wrong views, not wavering and being of two minds; not being partial to desire, etc., not following the afflictions. Like this, by cultivating the ten dharmas as before, one can overcome the difficult-to-conquer fifth ground and perfect it. After that, with the Perfection of Wisdom as the main thing, the cultivation of the sixth ground is taught. Giving and discipline, patience and diligence, meditation and wisdom, perfecting all, for disciples and solitary realizers, abandoning joy and fear, not being discouraged when begged, all possessions, giving away without displeasure, even in poverty not abandoning beggars, thus one attains the sixth ground. As said before, from giving onwards to the Perfection of Wisdom, the six perfections are perfected. And, not generating joy in the Hearer and Solitary Realizer vehicles, not fearing the meaning of emptiness with self-nature as the object, initially when begged by beggars, not being discouraged by the oppression of stinginess, in the middle voluntarily giving away all possessions without feeling displeasure, finally even if becoming poor due to giving, one will not abandon those who beg again, like this, by cultivating the twelve dharmas as before, one can attain and perfect the manifested sixth ground. After that, with the Perfection of Skillful Means as the main thing, the cultivation of the seventh ground is taught. Clinging to self and sentient beings, life and person, annihilation and permanence, sign and cause, aggregates and realms, sources and the three realms.

Attachment and clinging to one's homeland, a mind that is always dejected, strong attachment to the Three Jewels and moral discipline, arguing about emptiness, and the faults that contradict it. Completely cutting off these twenty, one will attain the seventh ground. This is what it is called. I, the basis of the agent "I," and sentient beings who scatter and act on the mind, and life that completes the kind with equal fate, and the individual who repeatedly abides in samsara, and annihilation where the manifested continuum will perish, and holding onto permanence that the inherent nature does not change, and what should be abandoned in samsara and nirvana, and holding onto the characteristic as something else, and holding onto it as the cause of different kinds, and holding onto the aggregates of name and form as true, and holding onto the realms that are the basis of causes as true, and holding onto the external sense bases and so on as the distinctions of conditions as true, and holding onto the untrue completely imputed as true, abiding in the three realms, and completely clinging to the attachment of taking and abandoning this, and holding onto not attaining omniscience, the mind is always dejected, and seeing the form body as the Tathagata, and declaring the twelve divisions of scripture as the sacred Dharma, and seeing the four pairs of eight types of persons as the Sangha, and seeing the antidote to the corruption of moral discipline as moral discipline, and arguing with doubt about the emptiness of all dharmas, and the faults that contradict this by holding onto things as real. These twenty that should be abandoned, completely abandoning them, completely purifying them as before, one will attain and perfect the seventh ground. So, what are the antidotes that abandon these? The antidotes are extensively taught according to the number. Knowing the three doors of liberation, the three circles are completely pure, compassion and no arrogance, the equality of Dharma and knowing one way, non-arising and knowing patience, all dharmas are shown as one way, destroying all conceptual thoughts, abandoning thoughts, views, and afflictions, definitely practicing calm abiding, and being skilled in vipassana, and taming the mind and for everything, unobstructed wisdom.
