And the Dharma, and the convincing words, and the individual fearlessnesses are all perfectly understood. What are the aspects of complete purity? They are the complete purity of the support, the object, the mind, and the wisdom. What are the ten powers? They are the powers over life, mind, resources, actions, birth, aspirations, vows, miraculous abilities, wisdom, and the Dharma. What are the ten strengths? They are the strength of knowing what is possible and impossible, the strength of knowing the maturation of actions, the strength of knowing various realms, the strength of knowing various aspirations, the strength of knowing superior and inferior faculties, the strength of knowing the path that leads everywhere, the strength of contemplating meditative stabilizations and so forth, the strength of remembering past lives, the strength of knowing death and rebirth, and the strength of knowing the exhaustion of defilements. What are the four fearlessnesses? They are: "I have completely and perfectly awakened to all dharmas," "I have exhausted all defilements," "I have shown others the path of definite liberation," and "There is no god, demon, or Brahma who can oppose the obstacles or vows of the path." These are the four fearlessnesses. What are the three non-guarding? Because the actions of body, speech, and mind are completely pure, there is no need to conceal any intention of hiding any reversed actions that others might know. What are the three close placements of mindfulness? When teaching the Dharma, those who wish to listen, those who do not wish to listen, and both, are sequentially followed by attachment, anger, and both are abandoned, and one abides with mindfulness in equanimity. What is the nature of non-forgetfulness? It is the characteristic of not exceeding the time for benefiting sentient beings with great compassion and skillful means. What is the complete destruction of imprints? It is the abandonment of the seeds of habitual tendencies of the afflictive and cognitive obscurations, and the complete purification in all aspects, like the sky without stains. What is the great compassion for beings? It is the unobstructed great compassion that sees and wishes to protect all beings who have been born in the higher realms and the lower realms, six times during the day and night. What are the eighteen unshared qualities of a Buddha? They are being without error, without noise, and so on.

Losing mindfulness, not entering into samadhi, having thoughts of various differences, and having unexamined equanimity, these six faults are not possessed. Desire, diligence, mindfulness, samadhi, wisdom, and the wisdom of liberation are without decline, these six qualities are possessed. The activities of body, speech, and mind, all are led by wisdom and follow after wisdom, these three qualities are possessed. In the past, future, and present times, the wisdom that sees without attachment or obstruction is called entering, these three qualities are possessed. What is omniscient knowledge? It is the one who fully awakens to all dharmas in all ways. What is gathered by the word "and" is the self-arisen wisdom that is sovereign over all dharmas, and the suchness as spoken by all Buddhas, which is the thusness of suchness. The nature of this dharma is the body of stainless manifestation, therefore it is called the Dharmakaya. In order to explain the difference of having no afflictions, the intermediate verse is spoken: Shravakas have a view of no afflictions, humans completely abandon all afflictions, the city of the victors, etc., those who cut off the stream of afflictions are without afflictions. The meaning of this verse is: The samadhi without afflictions of the Shravakas, etc., is to abandon human afflictions in oneself. If afflictions arise in any of those who see self, it is not allowed, therefore afflictions must be taken very seriously. The samadhi without afflictions of the Tathagatas, etc., is to go to cities, etc., and cut off the stream of afflictions of all beings. Also, in order to explain the difference of knowing the place of aspiration, the intermediate verse is spoken: The Buddha knows the place of aspiration, spontaneously accomplished and free from attachment, without obstruction and constantly abiding, willing to answer all questions. The meaning of this verse is: The knowledge of the place of aspiration of the Shravakas, etc., depends on effort, and attachment to samadhi, and is temporary and occasional, and is not able to answer all questions. The knowledge of the place of aspiration of the Buddhas is to enter naturally into the signless
