Neither stopping nor arising. Therefore, if the exhaustion of what previously existed and the non-arising of new things cannot be accomplished, then, according to the order, the wisdom dharmakaya's self-nature, which is from the beginning exhausted and unarisen, should be known as the great Bodhi, just as it is thoroughly understood. Furthermore, it is said that it is not permissible to know exhaustion and non-arising in any other way. "In the nature of non-cessation, by the path called seeing, what kind of discriminating species is exhausted? What kind of unborn aspect is attained?" This is what it says. If one thinks that the destruction of things and the non-arising thereafter are exhaustion and non-arising, and that knowing exhaustion and non-arising in this way is Bodhi, then this thought is not reasonable. Because cessation is the nature of suchness, the nature of non-existence from the beginning. For the born and the unborn, according to the order, having the characteristics of exhausting and preventing arising, what kind of discriminating species, which is to be abandoned by the power of your path of seeing, has exhausted what was previously born? What has arisen of the unborn nature, which is to be attained, of the unborn? Nothing at all. Moreover, the path of seeing does not make it exhausted and unarisen by its power, because it is focused on the cessation of the nature of non-existence. It can also be said in this way. Furthermore, for that school, the contradiction of what is established is said in this way. "Other dharmas also exist, and also show to the knowable, saying that obscurations are exhausted, etc., I find this very strange." This is what it says. Like this, if the characteristics of knowledge and the knowable, the nature of momentary dharmas, exist in the ultimate truth, then, by holding the self-nature that cannot be abandoned and produced, just like space, by practicing the antidote, they do not do anything at all to them. Therefore, those who are attached to the appearance of things claim that dharmas are truly existent, while the Tathagata thinks that for those knowables, all aspects of obscuration have been exhausted, these two are saying very contradictory things, so I find this very strange. So, how should this meaning be distinguished? The intermediate verses show the doctrine of no self-nature.

Said, there is nothing to be removed from this, there is nothing to be established at all. See reality as it is, and seeing reality liberates. Thus it is said. These dharmas, which are contained in the nature of the path of seeing and so on, have been present from the beginning with the nature of that very nature. There is nothing in the form of an opposing side to be removed, and there is not even a little bit of an antidote to be newly established. However, the path of seeing and so on is the same, with the characteristic of being of one taste. Seeing the meaning of reality, in which no refutation or establishment is accomplished, as it is with undeceiving wisdom, is called seeing reality as it is. Therefore, just as a king of illusion is defeated by another king of illusion, seeing with the manner of not even seeing the edge of reality in the end by the complete reversal of inversion, one will be liberated from all clinging. Thus, by the emptiness of arising and ceasing, there is no self; by the non-manifestation of external objects, there is only mind; by the absence of the grasped, there is no grasper, and the two are without self-nature; and by the absence of any object of focus in that very nature, there is no sign. One will practice yoga in the absence of signs. By that power, like the sky, all dharmas, with the characteristic of non-discrimination, manifest individually as they are to be known, and thus one will obtain the fruit of realizing the nature of non-arising and non-ceasing, exhaustion and non-birth from the beginning. This should be understood. After that, the actual nature of the path of seeing was explained: Giving and so on, each one, those gathered together, with one moment of patience, that which is gathered here is the path of seeing. Thus it is said. Whatever, by the action of seeing, elaborately distinguishes the six perfections of giving and so on, producing thirty-six aspects, is that which accomplishes the mutual gathering of the nature of giving and so on individually. This is like, that which is gathered by the patience of the knowledge of dharma of suffering and so on, with the nature of the wisdom of one moment, is the path of seeing at the time of the peak realization. That arises

The four kinds of conceptualization of grasping and grasper each possess nine natures, and by distinguishing between the desire realm, the form realm, and the formless realm, one abandons one hundred and eight kinds of conceptualization. By abandoning the one hundred and eight seed afflictions gathered by these, one obtains the nature of dependent arising. Below that, the samadhi that masters it is taught. Then, like a lion stretching out. Having entered into the samadhi, One realizes the accordance and, The non-accordance of dependent arising. Thus it is said. The conceptualizations of the opposing side, which are eliminated by patience, are without fear due to the immediately following conceptualizations. Therefore, having entered into the samadhi called "lion stretching out," which later belongs to the path of cultivation, one truly realizes the dependent arising, such as ignorance conditioning action, etc., which is in accordance with the principle, and the cessation of aging and death due to the cessation of birth, etc., which is not in accordance with the principle. Having thus attained the peak of the path of seeing, the path of cultivation arises from this, therefore the peak of the path of cultivation is taught. The nine successive absorptions together with cessation, Coming and going in two ways, The consciousness belonging to the desire realm, Holding the boundary of non-absorption, Surpassing and entering into samadhi, One and two, three, four, and five, Six and seven, and surpassing eight, Going differently until cessation. Thus it is said. Bodhisattvas, having cultivated the power of samadhi, are masters of entering into samadhi. In order to perfect the path of cultivation, they cultivate the first dhyana, which possesses five branches such as investigation and analysis, the second dhyana, which possesses four branches such as inner purity, the third dhyana, which possesses five branches such as equanimity, and the fourth dhyana, which possesses four branches such as mindfulness and awareness, as well as the infinity of space and consciousness, such as the infinity of space with aspiration as a guide, the sphere of the infinity of consciousness, and the nothingness, and the sphere of neither perception nor non-perception, such as the nothingness with aspiration as a guide, and
