I, truthful, words are ten, I suppose. These are not found in their own nature, know that they are completely purified. Thus it is said. The intention that is free from deceit in all bases and possesses omniscience, the benefit of being close to the needs of oneself and others and striving for the wisdom of the Great Vehicle, loving all sentient beings with one mind and wishing to bestow perfect enlightenment, being equal with immeasurable minds, completely giving up all possessions and possessing the nature of not discriminating the three spheres, relying on the virtuous friend who urges and abides in omniscience and pleasing him in every way, searching for the object of the sacred Dharma belonging to the three vehicles and not falling into the inferior vehicle, not rejoicing in dwelling in a house and always renouncing in all lifetimes, wishing to accomplish the body of the Buddha and not being separated from contemplating seeing the Buddha, teaching the sacred Dharma that is virtuous in the beginning, middle, and end, and being without pride, and possessing truthful words that do not deceive others as they are spoken. Only by completely purifying the ten such dharmas with the characteristic of being distinguished by their own nature being unobtainable, one obtains the first ground, the Joyful Ground, and perfects it. After that, it is said that the second ground is completely purified mainly by the perfection of discipline. Having made discipline, knowing gratitude and patience, great joy and great compassion, respect for the guru and respectful listening, the eighth is diligence in giving, etc. Thus it is said. The discipline of truly turning away from the practice of evil and abandoning the dharmas that are obstacles to unsurpassed enlightenment, knowing even the smallest kindness done by others and repaying it with great meaning as long as samsara exists, and enduring all harm and not being separated from contemplating that all dharmas are unborn, being without regret in practicing virtuous dharmas and being delighted to establish all sentient beings in the three vehicles, therefore being very joyful, great compassion that loves all beings and does not tire of dwelling in hell even for each one, rejoicing in all beings without exception

And to offer and serve the holy ones, to hold the virtuous friend as the Buddha, and to truly practice what he teaches, to strive for the benefit of others, not doing other things, and to be very happy to practice the six perfections such as giving. Such eight dharmas, through the excellence of completely practicing like before, one can obtain and perfect the second stainless ground. After that, mainly with the perfection of patience, the complete training of the third ground is taught. That is: never being satisfied with hearing, giving the Dharma without impurity, purifying all Buddha lands, not being weary of samsara, having a sense of shame, and the nature of not being arrogant, these five. Those who listen to the holy Dharma will not be satisfied, and all that the Buddhas have said, all that is said in the ten directions, they keep in mind, not coveting gain and so on, and widely propagate the holy Dharma, and do not even hope for the fruit of Bodhi. Cultivating the corresponding roots of virtue, purifying the vessel and essence of the Buddha land, not being weary in mind for repaying kindness with harm, and enduring all sufferings. Looking at oneself and others, not doing unwholesome deeds, abandoning the mind of the Hearers and Solitary Buddhas. Such five dharmas, not being arrogant, and completely practicing like before, one can realize and perfect the third radiant ground. After that, mainly with the perfection of diligence, the complete training of the fourth ground is taught. That is: dwelling in the forest, having few desires and being content, purely and truly relying on discipline, not abandoning the training, rebuking desires, abandoning Nirvana and all possessions, not retreating and having no prejudice. Dwelling in solitude, away from the conduct of the lower vehicle. Not having strong desires for unobtained gains, and not even seeking Bodhi for one's own benefit. Not being dissatisfied with the gains obtained, and obtaining all-knowing wisdom, and not arising pride because of it. Truly holding the vows of
