Twenty-two. It is called "Thus." It is the basis of all white dharmas, therefore it has aspiration, like the earth; it does not change until enlightenment, therefore it has thought, like pure gold; all virtuous dharmas increase manifestly, therefore it has higher intention, like the waxing moon; in order to burn the firewood of the three obscurations, it has application, like fire; in order to make all sentient beings completely satisfied, it has generosity, like a great treasure; because it is the support of precious qualities, it has discipline, like the source of jewels; because all unpleasant things befall it without shaking, it has patience, like the great ocean; because faith is firm and unwavering, it has diligence, like a vajra; because it is not moved by distraction from the object, it has meditation, like the king of mountains; in order to completely pacify the diseases of afflictions and cognitive obscurations, it has wisdom, like the supreme medicine; because it never abandons the benefit of sentient beings in all circumstances, it has skillful means, like a virtuous friend; because the desired fruit is accomplished, it has aspiration, like a wish-fulfilling jewel; in order to completely ripen the trainable, it has power, like the sun; in order to teach the dharma that guides beings, it has prajnaparamita, like a song; because it accomplishes the benefit of others without hindrance by magical power, it has clairvoyance, like a great king; because it has become a treasury of many accumulations of merit and wisdom, it has merit and wisdom, like a storehouse; because all the noble ones have gone and followed, it has the dharmas of the path to enlightenment, like a great road; in order not to fall into either samsara or nirvana, to walk easily, it has compassion and vipashyana, like a vehicle; because it does not exhaust by holding the dharmas that have been heard and not heard, it has dharani and fearlessness, like inexhaustible water; the one who desires liberation...

In order to proclaim to the gods, like a musical instrument with a pleasant sound, possessing the joyous feast of Dharma; in order to be indistinguishable in the work of benefiting others, like a river, possessing the single path of progress; like great clouds, being able to universally manifest by dwelling in places of joy, and possessing the Dharmakaya. Among these, the first three are encompassed by the initial action ground in terms of small, medium, and large. The fourth is encompassed by the path of entering the first ground. The ten after that are encompassed by the ten grounds, such as the Joyful Ground, and are the objects of experience of the path of seeing and the path of cultivation. The four, two, and two after that should be understood as being encompassed by the eighth, ninth, and tenth grounds. Thus, the Bodhisattva who generates the first three minds (Bodhicitta), strives to accomplish in accordance with the time as it is said, therefore, for the one who generates Bodhicitta, in order to accomplish the rituals arising from it, and to completely protect and cause virtues to manifest and increase, the instruction is the key instruction. That is: Practice and truths, and the Three Jewels such as the Buddha, without attachment, completely without weariness, completely holding the path, the five eyes and the superknowledges, the six qualities and the path of seeing, the path of cultivation called the key instruction, know that it is the nature of ten. Thus it is said. Among these, the nature of what is to be practiced, that is, the aspect of the unattainable, similarly, the unattainable, and the cause that becomes the basis and distinction, the condition of non-reversal, not practiced by other vehicles, and the means of proceeding without relying on others, and the basis for perfecting all aspects of knowledge, and the cause of purity and ultimate, etc., and the truths, etc., according to their number. The various distinctions of Bodhicitta, as previously stated, the uncommon aspect with the Shravakas, etc., in practice is that it does not deviate from the conventional and ultimate truths, and enters in an unattainable manner, this is the instruction. The truth of suffering, form, etc., becoming the result, emptiness and the Prajnaparamita, etc., with the essence of Suchness, the nature is one, this is the instruction. The truth of origin
