I prostrate to the Prajnaparamita, the mother of all the Tathagatas of the three times! I prostrate to all the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas! That which destroys the darkness of the obscurations of affliction, together with the moonlight, ending the night of samsara and nirvana; the supreme Dharma manifests from the peak of the high eastern mountain, shining brightly in the vast expanse of the sky of knowledge; the perfect four applications, riding the horse of wind, the mandala of the three wisdoms, the radiance of the pure four bodies shines forth; with the rays of heat, ripening the crops of beings, the victorious mother, Prajnaparamita, I prostrate! The meaning of the Prajnaparamita spoken by the Victorious Ones, is the very essence of the path; establishing the knowable and the known as they are, proclaiming the excellence of the cause, path, and result; with compassion, clearly explaining the extensive, intermediate, and concise teachings to the assembly of the wise; however, those of meager wisdom are unable to comprehend its profound meaning; the difficult-to-understand mother of the Victorious Ones, her essence is deep and vast, submerged in the ocean of words; in order to understand its meaning, the wisdom of the clear-seeing Lord Maitreya, guides with the hook of compassion; the establishment of the nature of the eight topics, and the Ornament of Clear Realization, the stainless garland created by the eight topics; the light of jewels shines forth, well-spoken to the assembly of the wise, creating great joy; the Protector Asanga briefly explained its meaning, the virtuous Vasubandhu with abundant wisdom.

The noble liberation that correctly analyzes non-meaning, the wise beings who distinguish the reality of meaning from extremes, following the signs with their own intelligence, the son of the conquerors, Senge Sangpo, explained himself. Thus, the wise mostly reveal the meaning, but some do not. Therefore, those who seek meaning and strive diligently should make all explanations. The supreme body of Prajnaparamita, adorned with the jewel of Abhisamaya, the commentary that clearly illuminates it should be a garland of wisdom lamps. Showing that the conduct of the noble Maitreya and the humble self are extremely consistent, and that composing one's own treatise is perfect, especially since the other Bhagavati mothers, the jewel of qualities, cannot be surpassed, and because of the great joy and delight in the immeasurable source, first, briefly praising the mother of all Buddhas, Prajnaparamita, paying homage as befits her qualities. Those who seek the peace of the Shravakas, who are led to peace by the wisdom of all, and those who benefit sentient beings, who accomplish the meaning of the world with the wisdom of the path, with whom the Thubpas are perfectly endowed, who have spoken of all kinds of perfections, the assembly of Shravakas and Bodhisattvas, pay homage to that realm of the Buddha. Thus it is. Among them, for the followers of faith, merely hearing the greatness taught by this verse, they will have no doubt about this and will generate great joy. The followers of the Dharma also, because of the emptiness of the nature of one and many, etc., the basis, path, and aspects of the measure, without seeing harm to the mother who knows all without birth, and because the nature of the three aspects of Prajnaparamita, the difference of habituation, etc., becomes the difference of difference, knowing that the Buddhas, etc., are produced, and generating joy. Among them, with joy, desiring to accomplish that meaning, with the meaning of grasping, etc., in all aspects, making great reverence, and also through the gateways of hearing, etc., obtaining the three kinds of omniscience as appropriate.
