That which is called "Profound Conduct," and "Realizing all dharmas as being of a non-dual nature," is the profundity of non-duality. Without abandoning samadhi such as liberation, it fully ripens sentient beings, and fully perfects all accumulations, the result of which is attaining Buddhahood itself, called "Nothing to be Obtained," which is the profundity of skillful means. Through the gateway of attaining inconceivable liberation, it is difficult to realize as if accomplishing mutually contradictory meanings, therefore there are eight kinds of profundity. Because the student obtains the Dharma of non-retrogression, it is necessary to attain Buddhahood as the result, therefore the uncommon cause of that, the equality of samsara and nirvana, is taught. Because all dharmas are like dreams, there is no conceptualization of existence and peace. Arguments such as the absence of karma, the answer is just as it was said. This is the meaning. Because all discordant and concordant dharmas are meditated upon as mere reflections, therefore samsara and nirvana are realized as being like dreams. Therefore, not conceptualizing the two as being separate is equality. If it is like a dream, then even when not asleep, there should be no non-virtue or giving, etc. The answer to such arguments is just as in the system that speaks of external objects as real, in the ultimate sense there is no one who kills anyone with anything, etc., but by generating things that are contrary to the continuation of life, it is understood as killing, etc., and thus killing, etc., is established. Similarly, even though things are like dreams, for those who have not abandoned all the bonds of past inversions, they will still cling to the appearance of things that accord with that meaning, and also, even the aspects of virtue and non-virtue practiced in dreams, if nourished by the subsequent mind of abiding, will also become the result of whatever the thing is, therefore this analogy is not established, as it has been said in the Sutra Pitaka and its schools. Thus, meditating on equality will lead to the complete enlightenment in one's own field, therefore the purification of the Buddha's field is taught. Sentient beings and the world are the same, the vessel

The support is impure. Because it is purified, the Buddha-field is pure. Thus it is said. Due to the distinction between sentient beings and the vessel-world, the Buddha's field, the support and the supported, are both impure in sequence due to hunger, thirst, etc. As an antidote, abundant food and drink are given, and the proximity of the gods is followed by aspiration. As an antidote to the impurity of dangerous valleys and cliffs, mansions etc. are given, and the golden ground etc. are manifested and accomplished, followed by aspiration. Thus, the pure Buddha-field is completely purified. To completely purify one's own Buddha-field, one must accomplish the Buddha's activities in accordance with one's capacity. For this reason, skillful means are taught: This, which has an object and union, transcends all enemies, does not abide, as is its power, uncommon characteristics, non-attachment and non-objectification, the exhaustion of signs and aspirations, its sign and signlessness, skillful means are ten kinds. Thus it is said. Because of the cause of truly transcending the law of obstruction, by practicing well, one transcends the demons of the gods, etc., and because all dharmas are equally meditated upon, although emptiness is realized, it is not manifest, so it does not abide, and by the nature of the accomplishment of aspiration, all the meanings of others are thrown by the power of the previous, and all the difficult practices are extremely accustomed, so the practice of liberation etc. is uncommon, and because the white dharma is completely pure, although entering liberation etc., one is not attached to nirvana, and in order to cut off the objectification of sentient beings, the door of liberation is emptiness and without objectification, and in order to cut off the notion of the signs of sentient beings, the door of liberation is signlessness and without signs, and in order to cut off the aspirations of sentient beings, the door of liberation is wishlessness and without wishes, and because of asking questions beforehand, the sign of non-retrogression is the true nature of speaking the non-retrogressing dharma, and knowing all the immeasurable realms.
