Reversed notions, steadfast mind from inferior vehicles, various reversed meditations, complete exhaustion of limbs, lightness of body and mind, skill in enjoying desires, constant celibacy, pure livelihood, obstacles such as aggregates, gatherings and faculties, battles, stinginess, etc., connection and subsequent connection, dwelling places separately prohibited, Dharma not seen as a speck of dust, certainty in one's own ground, dwelling in the three grounds, sacrificing life for the sake of Dharma. Such sixteen moments are signs of non-retrogression for the wise who dwell on the path of seeing. Thus it is said. By the emptiness of one's own nature, even the subtle grasping of forms, etc., as real is reversed, and by the blessings of the Buddhas, etc., the mind is steadfast in unsurpassed enlightenment, and by practicing the excellent Dharma of the Great Vehicle, the mind is completely reversed from the inferior vehicles of the Hearers, etc., and by the power of thoroughly distinguishing the Dharma, the limbs of being born in meditations and formless absorptions, etc., are completely exhausted. These four are the aspects of the truth of suffering. By being separated from non-virtue, the body and mind are light, and by the skillful means of taming sentient beings, one enjoys desires without attachment, and seeing the faults of objects, one constantly practices celibacy, and by the Dharma nature of noble beings, one does not prophesy inferior things, etc., so the means of livelihood are completely pure. These four are the aspects of the origin. By dwelling in emptiness, the dwelling places of connection and subsequent connection with aggregates, elements, and realms are separately prohibited, and by eliminating unfavorable factors, the connection, etc., with the obstructing Dharmas of realization are separately prohibited as before, and by completely knowing the faults of conceptualization, the dwelling places of speech connected with the accumulation of enlightenment, such as generosity, etc., are separately prohibited, and by abandoning the grasped and the grasper, the connection, etc., with the faculties, the basis, the objects, and the self are

The four so-called separate preventions are the aspects of prevention. By understanding the distinctions of generosity and so on, separately preventing the abodes that correspond to and follow miserliness and so on, and by understanding that all dharmas are the nature of the three doors of liberation, therefore not focusing on even a particle of dharma, and by obtaining manifest faith, therefore abiding with certainty in the three knowledges' own nature of unobstructedness and so on, and by single-mindedly abandoning body and life for the sake of the benefit of the dharma of all-knowingness, these four are the aspects of the path. Thus, by distinguishing the sixteen aspects of the moments of patience and wisdom and so on, the samadhi itself and the corresponding fruit, the cessation of the perception of form and so on, which are the objects of the pure world, and so on, arising with the aspect of non-manifest attachment, all these that are gathered by the subsequent mind are the signs of a Bodhisattva abiding on the path of seeing, which is non-retrogression. From obtaining the non-retrogression of the path of seeing, the non-retrogression of the path of meditation arises, wanting to explain its characteristics, because without grasping distinctions, differentiated wisdom will not arise, so temporarily the distinctions of the path of meditation are declared: The path of meditation is profound, profound is emptiness and so on, profound is liberation from the extremes of superimposition and defamation. Because in emptiness there is no form and so on, and also outside of emptiness there is no form and so on, so in order from emptiness and form and so on, whatever is liberated from the extremes of superimposition and defamation, that is profound, that is emptiness and so on, therefore possessing profoundness, so the path of meditation is profound. After that, the basis of distinction, the actual practice of the path of meditation, is declared: The decisive factor and the path of seeing, and the path of meditation itself, repeatedly contemplating, measuring and determining thought is the path of meditation. With the wisdom arising from the application of samadhi and the actual practice and the subsequent practice, in order for the meaning of the decisive factor and the path of seeing and the path of meditation itself, repeatedly

I think again, measure as it should be, and correctly determine, this is the continuous practice of the path of meditation. Then, how many kinds are there? Regarding this, the sutra says there are detailed classifications: Because it is continuous, there are small, medium, and large three types. The small ones are further divided into small, etc. differences, in this way, it is considered to be nine types. This is because the afflictions of Bodhisattvas are conceptual thoughts, so as an antidote to conceptual thoughts, the path of meditation is the nature of ultimate truth emptiness, because nine kinds of classifications continuously appear. Like this, the desire realm, the four dhyanas, the four formless absorptions, in these nine grounds, according to the order, conceptual thoughts are large, medium, and small three types, each of which is further divided into large, medium, and small differences, so there are nine types in total. Therefore, their antidote is like using small light to dispel extremely large darkness, the small is dispelled by the large. Each of the small, medium, and large is further divided into small, medium, and large differences, so there are nine types in total. Therefore, the path of meditation is considered to be nine types through detailed classifications. If for those who have emptiness as their object, how can there be differences such as merit? In order to eliminate this doubt, the sutra says: The teachings such as countless, etc., are not allowed in the ultimate truth. It means that in the mother sutra of the Victorious Ones, according to each path of meditation, it is said that countless, immeasurable, and boundless merits can be generated, but for the nature of the ultimate truth, which is meaningless, without letters, and without speech, how can it be allowed to establish these? Regarding this, the sutra answers: In the conventional, with compassion, the Tathagata allows the teaching according to its causes and conditions. It means that indeed, as mentioned above, those are not in terms of the ultimate truth, but in the conventional, relying on the nature of unconditioned great compassion, in accordance with the cause of the Dharmadhatu, in order to allow immature beings to generate great results, the Tathagata thinks this way. Furthermore, the nature of emptiness
