Not clinging to superior intellect, not distinguishing any practice by characteristics, not clinging to how to practice in a way that cannot be measured, this is the aspect of non-attachment. Thus, these seven aspects are proclaimed as the aspects of the truth of the path. Utter destruction is impermanence, affliction is suffering, becoming other without a creator is emptiness, oneself not being its essence is selflessness, and in general, nothing whatsoever is completely abiding, which is the essence of signlessness. Thus, these five aspects are proclaimed as the aspects of the truth of suffering. What is cessation? It is liberation from the stains of nature and impermanence, one's own essence being separate from the entities of both inner and outer, therefore both inner and outer are emptiness, having three aspects. What is peace? It is the abandonment of the view of clinging to a permanent self, therefore it is selflessness. The vessel world, and the path of nirvana, arising from causes and conditions, and not arising from causes and conditions, permanence and annihilation, the before and after of samsara, and refuting the manifest clinging to the undispelled conceptual dharmas, therefore it is self-nature emptiness. Great, and ultimate, conditioned, and unconditioned, transcending limits, and without beginning and end, and the emptiness of that which is not abandoned, having eight aspects. What is wondrous? It is because of being superior to other realizations, therefore refuting the agent of pervasive discrimination, therefore it is the one aspect of self-nature emptiness. What is definite emergence? It is the transcendence of not abiding in all, therefore refuting the various aspects of delusion in objects, characteristics, and times that are merely conceptual, therefore all dharmas, and the characteristics of one's own nature, such as that which can be manifested, and the invisibility of the past, etc., are the aspects of emptiness. The three aspects of how to definitely emerge, and refuting the essence of where to definitely emerge, therefore it is the one aspect of the essence of non-entity emptiness. Thus, these sixteen aspects are proclaimed as the aspects of the truth of cessation. Therefore, the aspect of knowing the path

Thirty-six. After that, the detailed distinctions of the aspects of all-knowingness are explained. Starting from mindfulness, up to the ultimate aspects of Buddhahood, in accordance with the truth of the path, dividing all-knowingness into three types, for disciples, Bodhisattvas, and Buddhas, they are established as thirty-seven, thirty-four, and thirty-nine respectively. Thus it is said. All-knowingness means that in order to manifestly awaken to all dharmas in all aspects, from mindfulness onwards, up to the ultimate aspects of Buddhahood, it is through the path of manifesting that itself, by its own power, that all-knowingness is divided into three types, that is, for Hearers etc. there are thirty-seven aspects, for Bodhisattvas there are thirty-four aspects, and for Buddhas there are thirty-nine aspects. So, what are the aspects of knowing all bases? Firstly, in the path of completely understanding things, by knowing the nature of the body, one enters the truth of suffering, which is body mindfulness; by knowing the nature of feelings, mind, and dharmas, one enters the truths of origin, cessation, and path, which is equal abiding; another is by completely distinguishing the general and specific characteristics, which are the four aspects of mindfulness. Having entered in this way, because of the arising of diligence, on the path of effort, for unwholesome things that have arisen and have not arisen, one correctly eliminates them and does not generate them again; for wholesome dharmas that have not arisen and have arisen, one generates them and makes them increase, which is the four right abandonments. Because of having diligence, making the mind workable, therefore on the path of completely training samadhi, there is desire that is the cause of respectful practice, diligence that is the cause of constant practice, mind that is the cause of previous samadhi, and the samadhi of investigation that is the cause of well distinguishing suchness, that is, by the eight places etc., abandoning the five faults such as laziness, having the activity of the miraculous feet, there are four types. After complete training, warmth etc.
